We had the most fantastic trip to St Kilda last May - Stu and Craig provided outstanding leadership, coaching, and essentially of course - good geordie craic.
A trip to remember fondly for a very long time - thanks to you both.

**not to mention the fact that both Craig and Stu are a huge inspiration to us north-easterners - with their epic trip around the entire coast of the uk when barely out of nappies 😂😁

Had a brilliant weekend on Sea Kayak Leader training with SKUK Adventures – fun, challenging, and full of learning.

Stuart and Craig were fantastic—really knowledgeable, but also down to earth and supportive. They didn’t just tick off the syllabus, they took the time to focus on what each of us needed, and gave us just the right level of challenge. I left feeling more confident and with loads of practical tips to take away.

They explained things like tidal planning in a really intuitive way, and it finally clicked for me. I’ve done a few of these kinds of courses before, but I definitely picked up some new tricks on this one. Highly recommend. Looking forward to paddling with them again soon!

We had a great day out in the kayaks with Stuart and Steve. As mostly beginners we were taught loads of useful skills, not just with the boats but reading currents etc as well. We then had fun spotting local wildlife (including a family of seals) and seeing local landmarks all whilst using equipment which was the best of the best. Stuart was especially great with me when I had a bit of a moment capsizing my kayak and guided me through to ensure I didn’t let it affect me. Definitely emphasised the value and importance of doing these trips with qualified pros like Stuart and Steve.

Stu and Craig kindly made the long journey from Anglesey to deliver a Sea Kayak Leader two-day course for us here in NE England. The course was absolutely superb. Despite the challenges of finding suitable venues on our coastline, they chose two fantastic locations where the conditions aligned perfectly with the planned exercises.
The structure and delivery of the course were excellent—pitched exactly right for our group. They managed to stretch us all out of our comfort zones without pushing anyone too far. Stu and Craig are not only genuinely lovely guys, but they’re also absolute experts in their craft and phenomenal paddlers. I learned an incredible amount over the two days, and I honestly can't recommend them highly enough!

Stuart has been my coach for a few years and I have gained new skills and confidence. I've really enjoyed the bespoke 1:1 days as well as small groups. Focus included turning on eddy lines in the Straits, playing on waves, tide races, planning crossings, getting close up to rocks, taking time out to enjoy the company of dolphins, exploring hidden passageways, loads more, epic lunch breaks, and lots of fun. Looking forward to next time!
