Went on the "Old Aberdeen" Scot free tour today. We were joined by a young couple from Canada. Rick, our tour guide was both very informative and interesting and he threw in some of his own amusing stories. I've lived all my life in Aberdeen but never knew the story of Old Aberdeen. I had my dog Bilbo with me as he likes a good walk. He enjoying meeting everyone and was quite content carrying his ball around. The weather was fine, not to hot for me and more importantly for Bilbo. Obviously we couldn't going into some places like the St Machar cathedral and the university chapel but I have been in both before. I mention that there was a rumour about William Wallace's arm being embedded in one of the walls of the cathedral but it is thought to be in the outer wall of the cathedral premises. I thougherly enjoy it and learned several things I didn't know about my home town. Would recommend it to others, whether they are Aberdonian or from further afield. Most enjoyable afternoon. Thank you again, Rick. Les Dunbar.

We met Rick at the Town House in Old Aberdeen, and left just over two hours later having been thoroughly entertained! We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have been the beneficiaries of Rick's detailed knowledge and experience on the tour around Old Aberdeen, and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. Rick gave us a mix of historical facts with legends, and shared his own personal stories with us. He was such a genuine, friendly, warm and engaging gentleman we couldn't have asked for better! Thanks so much!

On Saturday myself and my parents completed the Aberdeen city centre tour with Rick.

The tour was excellent and filled with all sorts of very very interesting facts and historical titbits that many if not most in Aberdeen likely don't know.

Rick's relaxed style and personable nature made the tour an absolute pleasure.

10/10 would recommend to anyone who has an afternoon free in the town.
