A really beautiful place to visit, especially with young kids. The park is clean, well-maintained, and has a lovely atmosphere. There’s plenty of open space for children to run around and enjoy nature. Restrooms are conveniently located nearby, which is a big plus for families. Definitely a great spot for a relaxing day out!

Play area suitable for above 3 year old children. My daughter have lot of fun on here.
Also have an exercise area for adults. Free car parking.

I don't know the park better than this in the surrounding areas. A lot of activities for children of all ages, coffee shop with snacks and toilet, the free parking. Also you can have a good walk or just laying on a grass 😉

Great for walking the dog, letting kids run crazy, cafe, ice creams . What more could you ask for. An update to previous review. There are new paths in place to help those with disability or parents with prams. They have cleaned around tree feature too so you can take a rest if you like.

Always enjoy a walk here! There is something for everyone - lots of space for dogs to run, as well as a woodland area for a bit of nature. A play park for kids. A cafe! Football fields are often used by local clubs but plenty of room to walk around if so. A park run on a Saturday which has a lovely atmosphere! And also a lot of civil war history if that's your interest! Highly recommend a visit. Parking is free with a suggested donation.

Nice park, which we attended to participate in parkrun, not a lot of planting mostly grass with a couple of football pitches, the river Devon runs along the length and a mound which is the Queen’s sconce, remains of the sconce (sconce is Dutch for fort) stands with a sculpture of a cannon on it.
There is car park which has a voluntary donation meter and a community cafe which is run by volunteers

This is a nice place half way between Leicester and Lincoln to meet family and friends. Spacious attractive park, with a bit of history, natural beauty, wildlife and even a place for refreshment (including public toilets). Great choice for a short day out. Car parking is more than satisfactory most days. Nice River Devon with plenty of cute ducks.

Great park with cafe, children's play area, picnic benches and civil war trail with augmented reality allowing visitors to see re-enacted, scenes and locations. Also great for dog walking. Car parking is pay and display but only costs a voluntary £1
