The tours are good. Entertaining and a great source of learning about the university of Cambridge, as well as the city of Cambridge.

What is important is to get a good guide who knows the history, as well as the stories. Thus .making for s very entertaining ride.

If you are able to go over the weekdays, you will be able to get a relatively more comfortable, not to mention less costly, ride.

Definitely enjoyed this Tour. Decided on a private tour with my husband. Tom was a really great guide, with all the history/stories. It was a beautiful day on River Cam. Would recommend Scholars Punting.

We highly recommend taking a guided punting tour with this company. Our guide, Nick, was fantastic! He tailored the experience to our interests in history and science, making it feel very personalized. Nick was a wealth of information and had some fantastic stories that kept us entertained. We had an amazing time! We wanted to get a picture with Nick, who we jokingly called Jack Sparrow, but unfortunately, we missed the opportunity. Nonetheless, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Excellent punt with a funny and informative chauffeur. We were lucky to have very nice weather for October which really helped. Views of bridges and college buildings is excellent from a punt.

I travelled all the way from Dubai and it’s my first time to travel to UK and Cambridge is one of my top destinations to visit. This punting experience with The Scholars actually made it more extraordinary. Tom D is very cool and chill so the experience was so calm and enjoyable. He even answered in Arabic when I thanked him. Wonderful experience. Perfect weather and an idyllic ride along the river with great commentary from our punter/pilot/chauffeur Tom W. Tom was friendly and knowledgeable and generously let our 13 yr old son have a go punting. A memorable experience and the high point of our visit to Cambridge.
