Our tour of Speyside with David was the highlight of our trip to Scotland. He was knowledgeable, made sure we visited a variety of different locations, and was great to spend the day with. He even made sure that we had gluten free food options and got to tour a gin distillery (in addition to the whisky distilleries) when we shared that we were gin drinkers.

I could not recommend Scenic Routes highly enough and would definitely book another tour if I am ever back in Inverness.

Our family contacted Scenic Routes to help us with a Speyside whisky tour. David's knowledge of the area gave us helpful information in deciding on specific distillery tours and tastings. David also sent us excellent restaurant suggestions for our stay in Inverness.
The tour was very comfortable and got we got to the planned events on time. One member of our group was not a whisky drinker and David was able to provide some other options during the tastings.

Our whisky tour was a very enjoyable day and I would wholeheartedly recommend Scenic Routes.

What a special day for us while in Inverness. David ushered us through the Speyside region, sharing knowledge and stories of the area, and laughter throughout the day. After getting to know a little about us, he chose a tour, the distilleries, and a sweet lunch spot to experience - what a delight and one we will not forget. He made such a wonderful day for us and provided us with valuable tips for our continued journey as well. Thank you, David, for your generosity!

I highly recommend David and his tour company. We did a one day Speyside distillery tour which was absolutely fantastic!! He let us choose where to visit and gave us recommendations based on our likes and dislikes. As a bonus, we went to a wool factory and even fed the hairy coos carrots at Cardhu! Such a great trip and wonderful guide. If we make it back to Inverness area, we will definitely book with him again on our next trip!!

Had the most wonderful tour with scenic routes and David. It was exactly what we wanted and David helped us find some off whiskeys we have never tried before. He was so knowledgeable about all things scotland not just whiskey. Highly recommend this tour and David.

I have used David's tour guide services twice the past couple years, and I can say he is top notch! I was able to see SO many things that I would never have seen, especially since he's a local and knows where to go. And the fresh shortbread is the icing on the cake!
