Have always appreciated Scapa, but after the tour and tasting with Adrien, I can now say it’s much more! Adrien wasn’t just hospitable but also enthusiastic and it made the difference from a standard tour you typically receive at other distilleries. Their private tasting room only elevates the experience further.

Good distillery tour. Jim was enthusiastic as well as the first Orcadian you can understand!
Small still room produces a limited amount out of whisky which enhances its value.

One of kind experience! We did the Winter Orcadian tasting, which was so intimate in the Noust room with an incredible view of the Scapa Flow keeping us company. Heidi was very knowledgeable and easy to joke with and ask questions. Definitely the highlight of our trip!

Did a whisky tour. A great way to spend the afternoon. Tour guide was very thorough and it was cool to see the aging warehouse with barrels full of whisky and to see the distillery and hear about how it works. Beautiful tasting room. Great unpeated whisky!

We loved The Scapa Experience tour, lots of information by a lovely, friendly host. The tasting room was fantastic, a lovely room with a beautiful view out to Scapa Flow. As for the drams, just wonderful.
The shuttle bus saved us wondering who would drive but you could still take taster bottles home so all bases covered.We would encourage you to head along.

Amazing tour. Can’t recommend it enough. If you are a Whisky fan and are visiting Orkney, don’t miss the chance. Our tour guide Scott was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Scapa Distillery and the beautiful dram they produce.

There are 2 distilleries on the island, this is by far the best, I recommend the Orcadian Tour, great value for money. Lovely folks and an unrivalled depth of knowledge. We had a tour with 4 people of which two actually worked in distilleries before and the tour guide wasn't afraid to ask them something if he himself didn't know the answer. Would definitely recommend, 5/5. When I'm back on Orkney would definitely visit again, their tasting room is fabulous

The tour is 1hr15, which went past very quickly due to our guides fun, enthusiastic and engaging way.
Loads of information to take in about the process and the history of Scapa.
Ending in the incredibly beautiful tasting room to sample the whiskies themselves.
Highly recommend booking yourself in to take a tour. 😃
