Having worked in Bath for 25 years, admittedly sometime ago now, I thought I knew the City pretty well. My wonderful children bought me this fantastic Food Tour as a birthday present. Wow...... is all I can say.

It's a great way to see the City and learn some of the rich history the City has to offer at the same time. Mike, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and tailored the tour wonderfully to suit the audience which ranged in age from 20 months to 61 years..........

The choice of independent food retailers was wide and varied demonstrating the abundance of different food choices available in Bath.

You can tell when something is good as the 3 hours passed by in a whizz. However, at no time did we feel rushed moving between our chosen tasting venues. I felt immersed in the activity from start to finish.

I would absolutely recommend "Savouring Bath" as a great activity if spending time in the wonderful City of Bath.

Absolutely fantastic experience on the Savouring Bath Food Heroes Tour, with Mike. We are locals but we still learnt so much about the city, its history and all the amazing food and drink it has to offer. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough - it’s a fantastic way to experience the city!

My partner and I had a fantastic food heroes tour experience with Maren. She was an amazing guide, and wove her knowledge of Bath’s history, architecture in seamlessly with her knowledge of the food scene in Bath. All of the stops were wonderful, but we particularly loved our visits to Paxton & Whitfield and Comin’s Tea. It was a brilliant experience and I would recommend it to anyone!

I would highly recommend the bespoke private tour with Savouring Bath. Ed our guide was great - very friendly, professional with lots of knowledge about food and Bath. Our favourite venues were Comins Tea, Matcha Thing and the delicious cheeses at Nibbles. I loved the goodie bags ! It was a great way to discover Bath and enjoy the varied food and drink on offer. We spent last Saturday afternoon with Ed, going to 8 different but equally tasty eateries ranging from fudge to cheese, goulash to turkish coffee, around Bath centre. This finished at Le Vignoble where we joined our other group for wine and charcuterie in a lovely private area.

I couldn't recommend Ed and Mike enough; well-organised, knowledgeable not only about food, but the city, too, and - crucially - very fun and friendly! A great way to get to know the city and its culinary highlights. Hope to see you again.
