My boyfriend and I booked canyoning with Savage Adventures as a belated Christmas gift and it was without doubt one of the best experiences of my life.

Pete is an absolute legend. He is incredibly knowledgable, responsible, daring, amicable and an all round genuine, salt of the earth guy.
We couldn’t have wished for a better instructor and guide for the day.
The whole experience front start to end was exhilarating, made even better by the fact we were not rushed at any point. Freya was a golden, added bonus too! 🐕
Having had wild experiences over Europe , this was by far the best value for money, and the one I have felt the most safe at whilst testing my own limits.

I’ve already recommended this to all of my family and hope to return again very soon.
Thank you to Pete again for an utterly unforgettable, invigorating adventure in one of the most beautiful places we’ve visited.

After booking a canyoning activity with Pete at Savage Adventures I can confirm, it is an AMAZING time!

We booked on as a smaller stag group and it was fantastic slipping, sliding and climbing our way down the river. There were several areas where we got to jump from higher ledges into deep pools, which I’ll admit, did get the blood pumping that little bit quicker! Climbing through beautiful waterfalls and along cliff faces, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Pete was incredibly knowledgeable about the river and the surrounding area and you can tell he’s a keen environmentalist, looking to both protect the local wildlife and ensure that the canyoning experience will still be great fun in years to come.

We all had a great time pushing ourselves just out of our comfort zones, surprising ourselves in the process. The entire experience had a perfect pace; we never felt rushed and were able to repeat some of the jumps climbs or slides if we wanted.

Pete took so many incredible photos and videos which certainly gave us all something to chuckle about afterwards!

All in all, it really was a brilliant day. Something I’m sure we’d all be keen to do again in the future.

Fabulous morning coasteering on the Gower with Pete. 2 adults/2 kids of mixed ability - we were all made to feel safe and included, while being gently encouraged out of our personal comfort zones. Lots of fun, variety and challenge for everyone, but the trip was carefully planned so there was no pressure to do anything you didn’t want to. Also some interesting wildlife and geology lessons! Top activity for an adventurous family. Thanks Pete!

What an epic day!
Easy location to find and communication before hand with all necessary details.

Pete was fantastic (as was the four legged helper). Great knowledge, loved floating down parts of the river and definitely pushed from my comfort zone on some of the leaps but Pete was reassuring throughout. Loved the pace of the session to not feel rushed and everyone was having a good laugh.

Would go back and experience other adventures here

Omg what an experience, my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the canyoning adventure, thank you so much Pete. His company provide all the wetsuit gear including little wetsuit socks. Pete has this adventure so well organized, he is super friendly and really knows his stuff, safety first, but having a cracking time, he knows when to encourage people to push their limits and when enough is enough. The location was superb, so many waterfalls all different types for different teniques, absolutely brilliant.

Absolutely fantastic trip led by Pete! We went in a big group with 6 kids and he was an amazing leader. He was well equipped, highly knowledgeable, and super skilled. It was a once in a lifetime experience, and we are so grateful for this incredible trip! The cave was our most fav part!

Booked the coastering down the Gower. They provided all the kit and even took some fabulous photos! A great day was had by me and my partner. Freya the dog made it even more special with her jumping in and checking up on us all. If your up for a fun activity I'd definitely recommend this. Only trouble we had was finding where the meeting point was, maybe this could be made more clear in the correspondence. Other than this we had an amazing day 😁
