We absolutely LOVED staying at Sanderling. The location is incredible. So peaceful, remote and yet 1 minute walk down to the rocks and beach
Thoroughly enjoyed exploring Dumfries & Galloway and our highlights were a boat trip on Loch Ken (with some speedboating!), the Logan Botanic Gardens, Gem Rock Museum and an amazing hands on experience with Highland Coos at Kitchen Coos & Ewes.
Overall a brilliant trip. Sanderling was exactly what we'd hoped for and more.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay for all the family. The little beach is just perfect for children and just a 2min walk from the cottage.
The walks along the cliff tops to Rockcliffe are just breathtaking. On a clear day you can see the north lakes mountains and the Isle of Man.
The cottage itself is done to a really high standard. Recommended!

We went to this gorgeous cottage cottage last year and have booked again for this year. Two lovely helpful owners and the attention to detail on the fixtures and fittings are second to none.It is a tranquil little Diamond in a fabulous setting. our Labrador Roxy can't wait to get back on the beach......bliss!
