Sam is a super ‘client friendly’ trainer, with knowledge, skills and experienced across a number of disciplines. This (not only) means (we have so much to talk but) that she offers many options for success for both horse and rider. Sam was brilliant with our young pony, making sure her first saddle was a comfortable fit. We had a good selection of saddles to choose from with Tackaholics loaning them to us for Sam's visit, and we are really happy with the one we have now. I will definitely be using Sam again when our pony has finished growing and we need to check or change the saddle and I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Sam is highly recommended, she is incredibly thorough, never rushes you and completely knows her job inside out. I had a bad experience with a saddle fitter before I found Sam and I'm so glad I have found her. My horses are so much better now with correctly fitted saddles. Sam is so easy to talk to, ask questions and very polite and professional, exactly how a saddle fitter should be. Always great to see Sam, I trust her to look after me and my pony and I know he has the best attention when she checks his saddle fits properly. Sam is so patient & kind (& hilarious too!). My boy is big, stubborn & hard work sometimes & I'm a big wuss but she has really helped us out, helping loosen him up & making me feel more confident. It's so difficult to find someone you trust when you live away from your usual support network but Sam is definitely someone I trust & value 😊

As an older rider I needed help on the ground that was going to be supportive and encouraging. I knew Sam of old and was delighted when she recommenced her coaching work. Our initial session was a calm getting to know both horse and rider which was both informative and enlightening. I lost no time in booking a series of training sessions to take me forwards with my new horse. The second session was quite intense but Sam was focused and ensured we were working well as a partnership. At the end of the allocated time my horse was working well and in a calm and relaxed way and I was buzzing with the level of success we had achieved. Reflecting later on the training session I realised how much more I had gained than getting the horse to work well. I too had achieved a level of confidence I had not enjoyed for several years. I have booked Sam to help me at regular intervals going forwards before she gets inundated with similar requests.
In summary, Sam is an understanding,very knowledgeable trainer committed to assisting riders to achieve their goals.
