Nice place to get some nice food, although very expensive! A bacon sandwich (with 2 rashers of bacon) and a hot chocolate was over £6!! Yet I can get the same from Greggs for £2 with 3 rashers of bacon in sandwich! The staff are lovely and the views from inside are nice. Not a lot of seats and tables and can easily be busy in weekends and holidays where there is nowhere to sit. They do offer food to be taken away so can take it and eat on grass in park. On hot days be prepared for cold drinks and ice creams to sell out very quickly

Called in with my baby daughter for a cuppa and to feed her. I requested the key for the accessible toilet so that I could use the toilet myself and change the baby. The changing facilities are in the ladies but if you also need the toilet you’re only option is to leave your baby in the ladies unsupervised while you pay a visit. The staff member was very rude and said if someone who needed the accessible toilet came in, she would have to open the door on me and ‘tell me to leave’. I appreciate a disabled person may have needed the toilet while it was occupied however, she is not aware whether I have any additional needs that are not visible and equally if a disabled person needed the toilet whilst it was in use, I’m sure they’d also be fine waiting like everyone else does when toilets are occupied. I found her attitude to be rude and unnecessary. I only wanted to change the baby and use the toilet without having to leave my child unattended.

Being in the centre of the park, the views from the cafe are great, but we're not big fans. The food and drinks aren't amazing and usually overpriced. The café's tables and seating are quite utilitarian. This could be a great venue, but it's not really there yet.
