Saltburn Victoria Apartments - Saltburn-by-the-Sea

We have stayed at the Saltburn Victoria Apartments now for three years in a row. We find that they are ideally located from the train station, within a short distance from all the local shops and conveniences, and (most importantly), a short walk away from the cliffside and the beach.||||The apartments themselves (we have stayed in 2 and 3), are spacious, light, clean, and come with everything you need to self cater and relax. We have managed to be in Saltburn for two of the monthly farmers' markets, and have been able to enjoy some lovely cooking at the end of a day on the beach, which is in no part due to the excellent facilities in the apartments.||||Saltburn is a fantastic town with a brilliant beach and sea front. Staying in the Victoria Apartments makes or annual trip even more enjoyable and we can not wait to get back each time we have to leave!

I booked this hotel earlier this year as we were attending a wedding nearby. I booked for my husband and I and a couple of friends. In comparison to other accommodation in the local area, we were impressed by the good value and the pictures and detail the website offered. The person who booked the room was very helpful and with our confirmation of booking, we received lots of helpful information, including a detailed inventory of the rooms and a map of the area that contained local information and places to visit. I also received a copy of the terms and conditions, which was very helpful. When we paid the balance, we were advised to call them when we were close to arriving. ||It was a rather long journey up and when we arrived, we had a warm welcome, with a car parking place saved for us by the front door. The person that showed us around was friendly and helpful and gave us a tour of the flat with the opportunity to ask questions. He also gave some recommendations, which did not disappoint. The apartment itself was better than I could have imagined, the place was spotless, with amazing light, well equipped. After a long journey, it was lovely to be greeting with tea/coffee and biscuits. The fresh flowers in the apartment were a lovely touch. ||There was a Sainsburys opposite as well as a parade of lovely shops and the sea was very close by. We absolutely loved staying here, there was plenty of room for all four of us and loved the decor. The location is great as it was about 30 minutes away from Whitby and Middlesborough and of course the moors. However, Saltburn is a lovely place to stay and would certainly stay again. ||If you plan to stay in the coast of North Yorkshire, I would strongly recommend this place.

Four of us stayed for the weekend while attanding Saltburn Folk Festival and we could not have made a better choice. The wonderful old Victorian grade 2 listed building has been expetly converted into 3 first class appatments.||Our accomodation was perfect for our needs with all the facilities you could wish for.||The welcome pack included free milk, bread,tea & coffee which meant that despite the fact that Sainsburys was only 50 yards from the door a visit was unnecessary.||The beds were as comfortable as any top class hotel and the whole appartment was spotless.||We have already re-booked for next year.

Got to the Guesthouse early, but no problem with the owners. Friendly welcome, quick adaption to our needs, large room, nice en suite bathroom.||Good breakfast.||Hostess very helpful, provided a free map of Saltburn with recommended restaurants marked.||Good place to stay when in Saltburn, especially when coming from the Cleveland Way long distance walk it's close to the end of the stage when walking clockwise.||Max. 10 minutes to the beach

We stayed here in the summer. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The apartments are ideally placed between the station and the beach. Supermarket is nearby for food. Don't confuse the apartments with a b&b of the same name. ||The owners also run the sales room next door so you can also stock up on antiques (or at least second or third hand stuff)

Stayed here for two nights for a family event in the area, great apartment, very high quality it was a really nice place to stay. Highly recommend it. Love the period building and it was very cosy at night.||Would not hesitate to stay here again, great base for the area, beach/bars and restaurants not far.
