The Barn is the epitome of luxury. It is beautifully designed and so well equipped, it is like home from home. Exceptional location, the views from the main living room are to die for. Comfortable beds, no distance from Salcombe, yet quiet, plus a hot tub to relax in after a brisk winter’s walk along the incredible coastline. Freya is the best host you can have, endless helpful. Our 25th wedding anniversary with family and friends was a celebration we will never forget. We will be back, just looking for the next excuse!

Simply amazing. We were a group of 13 and took over both the barn and the recording studios and the space was absolutely perfect! Beautifully done, with every thing you could possibly need in one place. Each bedroom has an en-suite which for a group of girls was great. The hot tub was fab and the large dining area (both inside and out) meant we could all sit around and enjoy our meals. Freya was super helpful and easy to communicate with. We had the best weekend, thank you so much for everything!

This is a fabulous place to hold a party. We had my 60th birthday party in The Barn and it was perfect. Everyone had their own en-suite room, the large dining table can accommodate more people than we needed and the open plan setting was perfect for a party. The view from the front window is a spectacular backdrop while sitting in comfortable settees chatting. The decor is beautiful and makes you feel at home. Everything has been thought of for big parties in the Barn and we enjoyed every minute we have spent here.
I highly recommend staying here.

Wow doesn’t really quite cut it… I can’t tell you how much of a perfect time I had at this stunning farm. It is so clear to see the places oozes class and quality. Freya the host is one in a million and one like no other - so organised, helpful and friendly. Every appliance is of such a high quality from the cookers to the cutlery, pots pans and cleaning products.
I went with 17 of my favourite people and had a weekend filled with my favourite things. The restaurants are a 15/20 minute walk but who wouldn’t want to walk in this beautiful part of the world?! We had a huge grazing board in the table, did a cocktail night, karaoke, went in the hot tub and had a fantastic meal and breakfast both mornings. We had everything we needed and it was all just perfect from start to finish. Immaculately clean and it’s clear how much love has gone into making the place feel like a home ❤️ Thank you so very much ❤️

Our family of four spent four nights in The Stables in January 2024 and loved every second. The weather was awful much of the time but the rooms were always cosy and warm, and surprisingly spacious. Walking back up the hill from Salcombe at night was an adventure, but my seven-year-old made it with no complaints and was calling The Stables her home by day two! Snapes Point was a highlight and walkable from the farm. Brilliant farm shop just up the hill and beaches nearby.

Perfect venue for large groups of friends or family! We stayed here in December 2021 for a long weekend before Christmas and it was amazing. Freya and her family made sure our stay was really enjoyable. The accommodation (split across two floors for large groups) was clean, cosy and had plenty of space for cooking and sitting down for dinner as a large group (14). All the bedrooms had plenty of space with separate bathrooms - the interior was beautiful.

Our hosts decorated the venue for Christmas, which was a nice touch - all we had to do was buy a couple of tea lights to add to the Christmas feel! Salcombe centre is around a 20 min walk from the farm, perfect for a morning stroll and coffee. If you're lucky enough, you may get a visit from one of the three dogs patrolling the site - I have included an image of Mick Jagger! 🙂 Would highly recommend and definitely visit again!

We had a fantastic stay at the Recording Studios, there were were 8 of us including 3 children and the space worked perfectly. Freya and her parents were brilliant hosts, and always made sure we had everything we needed. The interiors of the studio were lovely, clean and very comfortable. The open plan kitchen and sitting room worked very well, giving us lots of space to relax, eat and work. The location of Salcombe Farm is wonderful, only a short walk into town and there are lots of lovely walks to do. The studio has amazing views from the sitting room across fields and to the estuary. There are horses and chickens on the farm, which the kids loved. Hopefully we will return soon, I would definitely recommend.
