I’ve noticed in the last 6 months their consistency has improved. More likely to have things out on the shelf and quick checkout at the self service.

It’s handy to have the Argos and the currency exchange too. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating.

Nice and big like lots of Sainsbury's with a large car park where parking lines are marked in a very odd way and you have to park your car in that odd style.
Store itself is fine, ♿ accessible entrance as well as ♿ accessible toilet.
Besides grocery, kitchen electronics, all the kitchen stuff (pots, pans, crockery, cutlery etc) stationery, cards, fresh flowers, small plants and TU clothing available.
Home sections consists of soft furnishings bedding, towels and small home decorations.
Staff is good.
Lots of self checkout tills.

Great place for grocery shopping! The price is fresh, the variety is excellent, and the shelves are well stocked. I love their cheese collection, as well as the lindt chocolate display, making it impossible to not buy a bag 😉 their fresh herb collection (Thai basil, rosemary, thyme etc ) is perhaps the best I've seen in Bedford. The wine and alcoholic beverages collections is ace, too!

Parking spaces are all at an angle making it incredibly difficult to park if you have a large or commercial vehicle that isn't riddled with reverse sensors, poor guy at self service was overrun on his own and was having to repeatedly ask on his mic to have some help from a colleague. The 2 stars are for cleanliness of the toilets and the fact I found the items I wanted quickly.

Much like any Sainsbury's, there isn't much to say except for (in a good way) it has what you expect from a store of this size. As an out-of-towner, I quickly found what I wanted.

The carpark is sizeable, and benefits from trees around the edges which provided nice shade on a summers day.

Sainsbury's have good quality and fresh food. The staff are also very helpful when you can't find anything. They also pack your groceries for you, especially when you need assistance.
