Reception, lounges, restaurant and bar area are really nice. Comfy sofas and armchairs and looks like these areas have had a makeover. Just 1 negative here, the bar is in the reception area and if you are in the entertainment lounge you have to walk to and fro down the corridor to reach the bar. Rooms need to be updated, particularly the bathrooms. We had a curved corner shower cubicle but the doors came off the runners and we had to have maintenance to fix them. However he only did one door so we still had to be extra careful while showering. We had French doors rather than a window which was quite difficult to close once opened. The framework was very dilapidated and the whole frame and doors could do with replacing. Reception and bar staff were very pleasant and friendly, however some of the waiting staff had quite an attitude. My husband is on a very restricted diet due to a medical condition so we had advised the hotel prior to our arrival of what he couldn't eat. On our first night he was told that there was nothing suitable on the menu and the chef hadn't cooked him anything! Chef did come out to speak with us but despite been told my husband can't eat any red meat (beef, lamb pork or anything made with these meats) he offered to do ham and eggs. As ham is a derivative of pork this was not an option. We had to explain the restrictions every day and even provided a list of foods that can be eaten but felt like we had to fight every day for my husbands evening meals. The food in general was not of a good standard and this was noted by quite a few of the guests, including people who had been to the hotel on numerous occasions. We were so fed up with the off hand treatment we received that on our last night we went to a local Indian restaurant where we were treated like human beings with the most wonderful food and plenty of it too. This is one hotel that we will not be returning to

Had a five day Alfa Coach tour to The Royal Norfolk Hotel Bognor Regis. Can't fault the place. Lovely hotel, very professional General Manager and exceptional staff. Thank you Aneta who brought my dinner every evening. The food was excellent. Such a relaxing break. I hope to return soon.

Holiday with D J THOMAS coaches. 4 nights half board. From arrival to leaving today fantastic staff food and service. Would not hesitate to recommend and would stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel as part of a turkey & tinsel coach party and a pleasant stay it was. Room was clean & tidy and was freshened up daily,the food was very good served up by excellent staff. The staff throughout the hotel were helpful/polite & friendly. The entertainment each night was good with a xmas theme,games etc on xmas day. We were also blessed with exceptional weather and as the hotel was situated on the seafront and only 10 minute walk from town it was a ideal week. Owned by Alfa Travel and our tour driver was friendly/chatty and informative. Great holiday.

We stayed here on a coach holiday with Exclusive Holidays of Market Harborough.|Old building dating from 1830. | Spacious room with sea view , warm , clean and very comfortable beds.|Hotel is set in its own grounds and set back from the road , so quiet at night.|Staff , mostly East European including a Polish Manager were very good , food though |not gormet , you wouldn't expect that at the price , was of decent quality served hot with table service.A drink, wine beer, cider etc was included as well as tea or coffee afterwards.All in all a good experience with little to criticise.

Lovely clean hotel. lovely comfy bed, i had small single room which was adequate for the break. Staff in general were excellant. Now the where it went wrong. As a single traveller sat by myself at meal times, service was sometimes slow waited half an hour at bbreakfast between finishing cereal and getting my order for cooked breakfast being taken and another evening waiter from neighbouring saw i had been waiting a while for dessert took my order. seconly an over sensitive sensor light in corridor turning on and off all night with light shining under the door felt like i had pedestrian crossing in my room.

Have just spent 4 nights here with Exclusive Holidays ( A coach operator)|A very pleasant stay with no real problems.My wife and I thought it very good considering the price paid.Spacious room two windows with seaview.Very clean with room servicing each day.Very comfortable beds and excellent heating.|Meals were decent quality always hot , and a free drink included as well as tea or coffee afterwards.Staff pleasant and usually efficient.In all little to complain about.One demerit was no Soya or Oat milk available.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Old and tired rooms. Festively decorated which was nice. The food was ok and plenty of it. You certainly do not go hungry there!
The staff are lovely and try to help with everything you need.
The food was hot when it came out which was great. And we all ate at the same time which was lovely.

Definitely worth a stay.
