I will not use this taxi company ever again. They’ve stranded me and my family when we booked with 5 hours advanced notice and because we had a small dog( which I put in the notes on the booking) refused to pick us up. We have a baby with us and a 12 year old and decide to call us 2 minutes before our booking time with a quick “one ring sting” to be told when I call them back they won’t collect us. Please don’t use them go to somewhere else, Uber or a different firm is better. 0 stars don’t do it!

Worst taxi firm ever!! Pre-booked a taxi for 8 to take my daughter to an Hospital appointment at 8.30. Phoned them 8.10 taxi wasn't even on its way. Phoned again 8.20 said another 15 minutes. Absolute joke!! Couldn't get another taxi, so she missed her appointment. This firm should be shut down as this has happened a few times

I booked a taxi in advance to make sure it will be on time. Taxi has not arrived and rude man on the phone first lied my taxi will be in 1minute and 10minutes later said it will be up to 20minutes. It was taxi for a GP appointment with child. Of course payment was made while booking..

Would leave 0 if I could. Ordered taxi to get to the train station. 10 min later taxi is not there, calling the driver he drops the line. Called the company they said they’ll find out. Checked the app and it says the driver is as far as 9min drive! Over 20 min late!!! Of course we missed our train.

If you are late - call your customer and tell them you are late, so we can make alternative arrangements.

Taxi driver was VERY VERY RUDE ! Me and 2 of my mates needed a taxi home because it was minus 3 degrees and the walk is quite far, so we got a taxi from a McDonalds- expecting him to park in the McDonalds car pack when on the app I asked for pick up from McDonalds- he parked 2 streets over , but we struggled to find him because we didn’t know the area very well , he then rang us and was very rude shouting at us down the phone asking where we are , we asked him if he could park in McDonalds car pack and he sighed and then said 2 minutes, once he had picked us up me and my mates got in the back and sat in silence, one of our phones made a strange noise so we laughed and he shouted at us to stop laughing and that nothing was funny , he was overall very moody , asked for the money off us in the middle of the trip while he was still driving and then he nearly didn’t give change at the end.

Wish I read the reviews before booking. Rang because they were already 10mins late - only to be told I would have to wait another 30mins- to be fare the taxi came within 10mins of complaining and the driver was brilliant - so no bother.

I was dubious about using Royal cars after reading their reviews! I have used them twice in the last month for airport pick ups, once for my daughter who was looked after and felt very safe in the drivers care.
Arrived on time, drivers were very personable and drove carefully.
