We arrived to Rousay from Kirkwall with no advance booked tour, let universe guide us. And univese was really generous 😉 this time. By chance we've seen a van with tour label and asked a chofer if there is a space for 3. And a day become a wonderful fun experience. We joined a couple already on a tour and really enjoyed the history and nature and absolutely recomand a tour as Patrick has a great knowledge and a sense how to make tour interesting. Thank you!!!!

Patrick’s knowledge of Rousay covered everything from the present to the Neolithic. He shares this knowledge in an easygoing way. Over 5 hours driving around the island, we can’t imagine a better one day experience. Our initial interest was mainly in the ancient prehistory of the place but Patrick’s explanations drew us along the eons up to the present. Very highly recommended. Get the lunch.

Went on this all day tour on 22 June 2023. Patrick is a wonderful guide and this was an informative tour about the whole island and region with a spotlight on its remarkable deep human history. Lots of stops and sites to experience. Totally recommended. Average fitness required to walk up and down to / from some sites.
