Lovely space, views and staff. I'm not a Christian, but that didn't seem to be a problem. A bit tired in places, food was youth hostel standard, I think this could be better.
My mattress was possibly the most uncomfortable I have ever had the misfortune to sleep on
It is a great base for the area though.

The rooms here were ok sized but the mattress was extremely uncomfortable and the bedding was very bad quality. Also, the food here was absolutely horrible. For breakfast, there was only toast and a few jams and very simple and bland cereal like wholegrain shreddies and plain Weetabix. The lunch and dinner was very bad quality. For example, one dish was curry and rice but it was inedible. The rice was too overcooked and the curry was very unappetising and lacked flavour. It made lots of people want to spit it out because it was so bad. The chicken burger was very mushy and undercooked and the chips had way too much salt for everyone's liking. I came here with a big group of people and we were not happy with the food at all. Overall, I would never recommend this place because it is HORRIBLE!!!

I stayed here for 4 nights with my school at year 6, got about 15 hours of sleep in total, some of the activities were reasonably fun but 3 people in my class threw up because the food was unbelievably abysmal, the accommodation was absolutely dreadful as there were many stains on the sheets, and so much dirt on the 'carpet' (it felt like dirt) Do not recommend staying here if any teachers see this do not send your class here, I can guarantee that half your class will hate it, annoyingly strong Christian ethos. Pretty abysmal. Again, if any teachers see this, RECONSIDER WHERE YOU SEND YOUR CLASS!!!!!!
