Beautiful walk by the river. Open scenery and lots of space even though it was very busy at times.
The main carpark is £6 for a full day's parking so worth it.
Good walking footwear is needed as it can be rugged under foot in places and there are the odd stile to clammer over.
It's a popular walk for dogs too. Most dogs were kept on leads but there were a few dogs wandering off the lead which wasn't good with sheep roaming freely across the same fields by the river. Our dog is a nervous dog and kept on a lead so we don't appreciate dogs running loose off their leads and bounding up to our dog as we do not know their temperament.
It's a lovely walk for the able bodied.
We saw cold water swimmers enjoying the river. The river looked so clean and clear.
After the walk, we walked the shirt distance into town. It was extremely busy.
There are a number of cafes and pubs to eat and drink at and a few shops to browse.
Worth a visit.

An area in the National Park where it seems the rights of private land owners means nothing and people just walk, cycle and bring their bbq and come for the day. Summer month only.

It's beautiful here. Calming relaxing, clean, refreshing. There's lots of places to eat, lots of things to see in the area. I especially recommend stump cross caverns.

Walked along the river for about 3 miles, lovely scenery and solid under foot. Mixture of track forest and field, also a few pebble beaches.

A very picturesque round walk along the river Bank over the road bridge back along the road and down the lane to the generating station and back to Linton falls car park.
