Nice adult only campsite that do not take dogs. Very attentive on the cleaning of the showers, etc. Friendly couple, always about chatting. Site needs a bit of attention, rubber bands stopping shower heads slipping down, benches a bit flimsy, internet connection varied.

We were travelling light with 2 people, 2 bikes and a lightweight tent, and for our purposes the site was excellent. Well maintained, excellent prices, a friendly & helpful owner, lovely location right on the river, good showers and right next to the village shop.

Great campsite if you travel by bicycle and camp with a tent. No space to hide/cook when it rains. Picnic tables with amazing river views. No option to charge a phone, but I could borrow an adapter from the very kind campsite owners.

This was our last stop on our NC500 trip,we were met by very nice lady perhaps the owner who showed us to our pitch which was lovely plenty room as it was fairly quiet .plenty room for our grandkids to run around safely, the toilets and showers were very clean although old buildings you can't fault the amenities the only downside was to empty your grey water tank on a campervan you had to go out of main gate to drain but I did it when we left so was fine there is a local shop next to site and an awesome fish & chip shop 5min walk away with a massive selection of food.I would definitely stay here again

We were there 2 weeks ago. We had the occasion to compare several campsites during our stay. This campsite's value for money is quite low: no plugs (and the landlord "offered" to charge one device for £1, when you're already paying for the night...), and the washing room was a mess and dirty. One shower wasn't working.
Otherwise, nice view on the river, and grocery shop just next the campsite.

Thought this was a really nice campsite. Relatively small and quiet beside the river. Facilities were basic, but very clean and worked well. Gated entry which is good as you know really only people on the campsite have access.|Owner couple were very friendly and nice.|Mix of a few tents with mainly campervans when we stayed. We stayed for 4 nights, but most seem to be touring and just stay the night. |Shop just outside campsite sells what you need, and can go up the road to the fancy Coul House hotel if you want a nice meal or drink.|Definitely be back here if visiting the area.

A small well kept grass site next to the river, very peaceful and tranquil. I met Martyn, who was very friendly and helpful. Admittedly not the most modern facilities, but everything was clean and in good order. I liked staying here and would visit again.

Riverside has an enviable position on the edge of Black Water. The owner is friendly, helpful and laid back. The site is clean and has the basic facilities which do the job intended. Site is gated so is nice and secure. Dogs are welcome on site too. There is a village store next door to grab your essentials. Lovely little stop over, nice and quiet.
