Dundee Acoustic Music Club run monthly concerts here, generally the third Sunday of each month. Nice space with a good acoustic. I believe the place is available for community use and would be ideal for any sort of concert or function.

I visited the charity shop that supports this valuable community asset. It's an absolute treasure trove with the cheapest prices I have ever seen in a charity shop. I was informed that the community centre is completely reliant on income from the shop as it has recently lost its lottery and government funding. I totally recommend it as a place to visit in the delightful little village of Newport on Tay, which is a great day out on its own when combined with a trip to Wormit.

I have just read that comment regarding the Rio being used for enabling flu injections.
I came here for my fifth annual flu jab and can honestly say that I had the best ever experience. I would like to add that the service was impeccable. The nurses and staff members were professional and friendly. The areas were ultra clean and staff were mindful of social distancing wherever possible. It is the first time that I have not experienced a pain in my shoulder.
I can only assume that there are a few people who take pleasure in criticising for the sake of it.

This is a real Aladins cave of second hand and preloved items. Much cheaper than many charity shops. Be prepared to rummage as they have a huge range of stuff including household items.
