The team were so helpful yesterday when the front wheel came loose on my son’s bike (which was his own bike, not a hire bike!). They fixed it and went above and beyond to make sure we had a successful trip with no other mishaps. The bike I hired from them was also exactly right and ready when we got there. Just wanted to give a massive shout out to Ride Experience - High Lodge. Noticed a snapped spoke at the start of the ride, but they were able to get it fixed and I was riding about 15 minutes later (even with the exact DT Swiss spoke!). Great experience, very reasonable price.

The new owners have done a great job - will be taking a lot of my service work here in future.

Phil and the team @ whyte bikes thank you so much for making the Forest accessible for me to enjoy with my husband. Had a great experience using the platform bike my husband found it easy to use the power assist was great. We went on the high lodge heritage trail which was well maintained and comfortable to ride.

Visited today and staff at the bike hire couldn't have been more helpful. It was really, really wonderful to be able to include my Autistic son in our bike ride, due to the possiblity of hiring an adapted bike. We have never been able to go on a family cycle ride before, it is usually one parent and child cycling while the other waits with our disabled son. High Lodge might not know it but they really made our day special by being inclusive offering adapted bikes for hire.

A lovely experience of renting out bikes to be able to explore more of the woodland area with our little one. We rented out adult bikes with kids seats on the back, and the kids had a great time experiencing something new! The staff were very friendly and took the time to make sure we were all set up safely and knew where we going on the routes. We’ll definitely be back again!

Website was easy enough to use, but we weren't sure of our arrival time, so took a chance and hired in person.
Everyone was great and there was a good range of bikes, which were great fun: the briefing on which trails were available was essential to us having a great time.

Blown away by the help given - we'd tried and failed so many times to get the pedals off our 2nd hand frog bike so popped over to use the tools behind the hire centre. Still no luck, decided I'd pop in and just ask if they could loosen the nut. 2 guys in there, both lovely, one took it and removed the pedals, did a quick check of the brakes and general toddler worthiness and inflated the tyres. Declined any payment and actually said effectively that they were just happy to help.
Would have full confidence in any advice they give. Thank you 😍

Great experience getting a new cassette fitted. I had replaced chain and was getting some slipping. Identified worn cassette as issue, replaced it and adjusted derailleur for me in the time it took to get a cup of tea.
