The most terrible place I have ever visited.Dirty streets,dirty restaurant,weired waitresses who served the food.I visited small restaurant in the opposite Sea Life centre,something like a wacky warehouse,cos we saw vegetarian menu,but the broccoli pasta was strange. THE portion was very tiny,looked like for a baby.So we had to go out and buy more food for my brother &dad.(they are not fat but athletic type of people).I doubt very much I will ever visit Rhyl again.

I rang the telephone number I found on the web throughout the day on Sunday (some 15 times) and got no message that might have told me if I was dialling the right number or giving me the hours of the TIC or if it has ceased to operate as sadly seems the case at so many places in Wales. Such a pity that funding for such a service is often now unavailable. We do not all have access to the web or Smartphones (or even Smartphones that have charge) and therefore taking the service away is to my mind a new form of social exclusion.

Closed! Unfortunately the children's village in Rhyl was a huge waste of money when it was built and now needs bulldozing and something meaningful and family orientated putting in its place! The rates were always to high for business owners!

Surrounding the tourist info centre is the most dismal sea front I have ever seen. I was there for the opening years ago and since then the space has not been utilised at all. Rhyl is in need of some serious investment.
