Myself and my wife just spent the weekend in the Kingfisher, wow! I have never been anywhere so peaceful, its mad i didn't know this place existed and we live literally 5 minutes drive away, i seen them when walking the dog! The lodge is stunning, everything in it is stunning, the views are stunning, and the best bit is there is 100% privacy and zero noise just animals and the wind through the trees, it is pure tranquil. We have been all over in cabins and this is by far the best, we are rebooking for our anniversary. I hope the owners don't see money signs and over populate the site going forward, this place offers something nowhere else we have been so far does, it needs to stay like that. Amazing place well done to the owners 👏🏻

I couldn’t not leave ‘The Nest’ a glowing review.

My family and I booked for a one night stay (4th january 2025). From the moment we arrived we were able to completely switch off from reality (which i find rare!) and just enjoy our staycay due to the fact the site was so blissfully peaceful and blessed with out of this world views.

We loved the fact (especially as we came with one of our dogs) the site was huge and spaced out so generously from other guests, our dog had the best time too, with plenty of room to exercise and play ball!

The communication from the owners was impeccable from booking to leaving, we cannot thank you enough for gifting us an additional night due to the fact roads were closed and we got snowed in as we live a minimum of 2 hrs away. The snow, which i know no one is responsible of, just made our stay that little bit more magical too!

From the minute you enter the luxurious cabin, it oozes style, sophistication and all the coziness! It had all the finishing touches, they even thought of an extra towel for the hot tub which no ever site has ever provided for us before! The welcome hamper was beautiful, and from small, local businesses too!

From the log burner, the bi-folds, the coffee machine, hot tub, luxury bedding, huge bed, stunning Bramley products, under floor heating, everything was to a high standard, no expense spared!

The cabin itself was immaculately, sparkling clean. This place is utterly faultless. I could go on and on raving about The Nest.

Our only regret is that we hadn’t booked sooner - Will recommend to friends and family and 100% be back in the near future. It’s guaranteed you’ll get plenty of ‘rest’ when you book, ‘The Nest’!

My partner and myself spent a night at the Nuthatch last night and I can honestly say it was absolutely amazing. The most stunning views from the back where we had a terrace/balcony with a hot tub over looking the fields and wildlife. Even the inside deco is outstanding, I was obsessing over it! Lots of little finishing touches where you can tell the hosts have put so much effort and thought into it, with the best of quality! The place is also absolutely immaculate, I could honestly of stayed there for an entire week. Thank you so much for being such good hosts, it was worth every penny, truly outstanding! x

5 stars for a perfect night in Kingfisher! My partner and I absolutely loved it - the whole experience was relaxing and fuss-free! Not to mention, everything was so clean and taken care of. The hot tub was gorgeous and all the amenities were thoughtful and attentive. We are already looking to book for next year, and are recommending to friends/family!

We stayed at the Kingfisher for two nights and it was absolutely amazing! It was so peaceful and a great place to relax. The hot tub was great and the property was very clean and cozy throughout. The kitchen was well equipped and the provided handbook made it was very easy to use all the appliances and make the most of our stay. Highly recommend and will likely go back.

My partner booked this place for a weekend away with friends for my birthday. We had 5 families including kids and multiple dogs. Lots of space for everyone including smaller spaces to get a bit of alone time if needed. Great facilities for a longer stay with laundry access and all the kitchen amenities and glassware you could hope for. Lovely views over the pond and fields with coos. Great for dog walks as well as lounging about in the hot tub. Little extras including food/gift hamper and dog treats most enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to book here.
