We did have a lovely stay here but I’d caveat that by saying the Hotel really needs to make some changes to bring it into 2025. At the very least have a TV in the room that works, and has more than the basic channels. It took ages for the TV to respond to the remote. ||The room was spacious and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities also minimal with barely enough milk to make one coffee. ||The Hotel is dated in some areas and more modern in others. So the bar nearest the spa was more modern, whereas the hotel rooms and the bars in the Hotel were really tired looking. ||Breakfast was good, the team in here were really lovely. I explained that I needed somewhere quiet to sit due to noise sensitivity and the lady who dealt with us couldn’t have been more accommodating and sat us in a lovely separate area. The food was lovely, and the team very friendly and helpful. ||Reception team also friendly and accommodating we paid extra for a late check in, £20 for an extra two hours. ||The spa facilities are included in your stay, although on the day we went the jacuzzi wasn’t working and was being repaired. You are provided with towels and flip flops.

Stayed here 8th of February for a treat for my partner. Upgraded the room to a suite purely for the spa bath and robes, one robe was not white anymore and one of the eyelets was snapped, I looked pretty shabby.
Paid extra for dinner. The bath itself was lovely but no bubbles or bath soap supplied.
Went to the spa, and it was absolutely rammed with people. Way too many people for such a small spa, there was no place to sit, no beds, the sauna and the steam room was full constantly. For a relaxing day we ended up back in the room.
The evening meal portions are extremely small and we ended up getting extra food from the bar. We were extremely disappointed to have to wait in a queue for the small bar downstairs when adjacent to that room was a huge bar with shutters down. Breakfast was amazing. But after spending £317 for the room dinner and breakfast with a further £258 on drinks and extra food on the daytime and evening it was very disappointing. The next day we thought we would go for a walk around the grounds, rubbish and broken parts just chucked around a corner as if it’s out of sight out of mind. Such a beautiful place to be let down by small things. We don’t recommend and will not stay again.

I visited the spa area today for a hot stone massage with Ellie D. I have had to come home and instantly write a review. I have had quite a few massages and honestly this was the best massage I’ve ever had!! Honestly amazing. I was greeted by a lovely lady on the spa reception desk. After completing a form, I was shown to the relaxation room - with low lighting, lovely relaxing music and as warm as toast, with relaxing heated beds. I was then greeted by Ellie and shown in to a lovely warm treatment room. The treatment was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this therapist and this treatment.

Amazing stay and great deal. We had an overnight break including spa dinner and breakfast. Room was big and very clean. Staff were so attentive. |The sauna and steam room were hot. We enjoyed relaxing around the pool and had a swim. The pool's temperature was good. |The food and wine were delicious. As were cocktails. |Lovely grounds too.

We booked Redworth Hall as a pit stop with our two kids on our drive from Scotland to London. Looking for somewhere with a pool and restaurants so we could just stay in one place, Redworth fit the brief and location was great, just off the A1. |We booked the package that included room, dinner and breakfast. Although the building is grand, it seems a little bit tired and may benefit from a little overhaul. Still, the room was very large and comfortable and had a spa bath. A separate bed was put in for a toddler and it was still spacious. |As the swimming pool was so important to us, we went to the retreat as soon as we arrived only to be told it was too busy for us to go in. We managed to talk our way in eventually and although all the loungers were taken, the pool wasn’t too busy. The pool area was, however, quite cold. |Dinner was reasonably priced and totally fine, although service was slow. It does seem they sell too many dinner packages though, as we were told there were no tables available until 8.30 when we checked in at 4PM. With two young kids this was obviously too late and we managed to squeeze in at 6PM. |Otherwise, we would had to eat in the bar area from the bar menu. They should inform guests that they should reserve a dinner table when they book a room. |Breakfast was good. ||As a stop on a road trip this was an excellent stay and we would come again, however, I would probably be a little disappointed if I had paid out for a spa trip.

Had a fantastic overnight stay and spa for my 40th. Was treated to a treatment, evening meal and breakfast. Staff were incredibly friendly, offering a free room upgrade and drink on arrival. Spa was lovely and massage was just what I needed.
The food was good on the evening and for breakfast. Perhaps the menu could be a little more expensive and would love to see some renovation / modern decoration on the rooms but overall a great night away.
