Been on a number of these tours now.

All have been very thoughtful and informative about Exeters history.

The Medieval Tour with Mrs Jackie (totally free) was lovely! She brought us through the most iconic places in Exeter from the city center to the Quay with very clearly explanations. Very recommended!

I'm so very happy I found this! I'm even more chuffed that I've been on all of their tours on the Winter schedule and will deffo come back for the Summer schedule. I got to meet some really lovely people including all the volunteer tour guides. Thank you for your time and everything you do!! One of the best ways to explore Exeter and fall in love with it just like I have 😍.

Absolutely brilliant! We joined the Forgotten Exeter tour with Clive and then the ghost and legends tour on the following day. So interesting, tour guides with such a wealth of knowledge. How fabulous to be able to do something for free that is just so good!

David was an excellent guide. He made Exeter seemed super interesting and if not for him, I don’t think I’d have grown to like the city as much. He was very knowledgeable about all things Exeter and was very passionate about the city. However despite his wealth of knowledge, he didn’t make the tour boring at all and always had a great wit about him. He was very lively and answered every question in detail and with spontaneity. David also provided so many recommendations to all of us and kept us entertained throughout. I could do a 4-5 hour tour with David to be honest - he was that good. We send our well wishes and deep appreciation to David for a wonderful job.

Ps: our tour was scheduled at 10.30 but I had to shift it to 10.45 and some in our party were further held up and only arrived at 11.05-11.10 yet David was especially patient with us and insisted on showing us the whole tour at no extra charge. Wonderful wonderful man.

Thank you David for a great time in Exeter. Will definitely get a tour with you next time I am in Exeter.

We did the Cathedral to Quay tour with Jackie and she was absolutely lovely. Just enough stories to keep it fun and light-hearted whilst also sticking to the facts and figures.

Excellent tour of Exeter by our guide Barry Flicker. Very interesting and informative. Gave us a great insight into the city. Keen to do the other tours now. Well done to the council for running these tours
