Quex Holiday & Touring Park - Westgate-on-Sea

Wanted a campsite for the night and ended up staying for two. There's a pitch area for adults only but we stayed in the family/everyone area for the last of the sunshine. We didn't pay for EHU but all pitches have the facility. Water tap nearby but no hose so make sure you have one. The new shower/toilet block is lovely and well cleaned, though it was quiet throughout our stay. The wildlife is abundant which is encouraged by the David Bellamy award and even saw the green parakeets but were unable to get a photo unfortunately. The dog walk area is enough to exercise and toilet them but also found out that there's a field nearby where they can be more free. We didn't find it as we were happy chilling!
I had the breakfast at the cafe on site, which was very good, especially the bubble&squeak instead of hash brown.
Big shout out to Dan in reception, as my rear view mirror/camera decided to fall off as were about to leave. I couldn't drive with it dangling and unfortunately neither of us could fix it back in place. But he managed to secure it enough to drive and his patience and "want to help" manner really stood out! This site is perfect for campervans, but it is quite small and the pitches are small with it. But the staff were super friendly, it's beautiful and the trees are full of green Parakeets who come out in the evening and fly around.

Lovely site, immaculate showers and toilets and under cover washing up facilities. Great cafe and site staff very welcoming and friendly. Close proximity to the seafront, perfect for cycling or walking. We were however disappointed that although we'd booked this site specifically as it had a no tent policy, a white commercial van pitched up near to us one afternoon with two small tents and unfortunately, the occupants were not the quietest campers, keeping us awake until late.

Small touring site, spotlessly clean facilities. Plots are within trees so it feels tranquil and peaceful, though we went through a whole pack of wet wipes cleaning the bird droppings off our van the day we left! There's an adults only area but the whole place was quiet anyway. There's a cafe but it wasn't open for most of the time we were there... but I think this wasn't normal. It did look like it did very nice food though. And then there was Quex park itself, which you have to drive out and around to get to. Great place with lots to do.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by super friendly and helpful staff who made check-in a breeze and were always available to answer questions throughout our stay. Their genuine warmth and local knowledge really enhanced our experience.

The park offers fantastic amenities that cater to all ages - everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. Whether you're looking for activities or simply want to unwind, there's something for everyone.

What struck us most was how peaceful and relaxing the atmosphere is. Despite being well-located near Birchington-on-Sea, the park feels like a tranquil retreat where you can truly switch off and enjoy quality time with family or friends.

The pitches are spacious and well-kept, and the overall cleanliness and organization of the park is impressive. We'll definitely be returning and would highly recommend Quex Holiday & Touring Park to anyone looking for a quality holiday experience in Kent.

We stayed at Quex holiday park about a month ago.
The touring pitch was nice and set in a Woodland area but I felt that there wasn't the privacy between the pitches that you get at the sister park Hawthorn Farm.
The toilets and showers are modern and very clean .
We did find that there is a very busy road running along the touring site which did have traffic constantly which although can't be helped was a bit of a shame when wanting a bit of quiet.
There are some fantastic beaches nearby , Botany and Kingsgate bay being particularly lovely.
I'm a bit torn as to whether we would stay again as it is a lovely site and with beautiful beaches close by but the constant traffic from the busy road was a bit disappointing.

What a wonderful stay at Quex Holiday & Touring Park! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help with everything we needed. They made check-in smooth and were always available with local recommendations and assistance throughout our visit.

The park itself is beautifully maintained and has such a peaceful atmosphere - perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Despite being well-located near Margate's attractions, it feels like a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The facilities are clean and well-kept, and you can tell the team takes real pride in maintaining high standards.

We'll definitely be returning and would highly recommend Quex Holiday & Touring Park to anyone looking for a quality stay in the Margate area. The combination of excellent service and serene surroundings makes this a real gem!

Lovely quiet site which is perfectly situated. The staff were super accommodating- Lunch at the cafe was delicious, and the public areas were nice and clean. Can't wait to come back!
