We stayed in a four bed lodge 107 on Retallack resort in July.
Absolutely loved the place and resort was really relaxing and chilled.
Lodge was clean and tidy when we arrived and looked out over the water which was so relaxing sitting watching the ducks, Geese go past!
Had a huge dinning table outside along with a hot tub which was lovely and clean too.
We had two lounges which is great if there’s a few of you, also a lovely walk in wet room on the ground floor plus en-suites in bedrooms. Kitchen had everything you’d need.
Beaches are all pretty close by and our dogs loved Harlyn bay and Watergate bay which were 20 mins tops!
Some great pubs locally for food and a few drinks!

We have stayed at Retallack a few times but this was first year with Queenwood. Everything was great. This was a 4 family holiday and had adjacent lodges (106b and 107) so our daughter’s family had separate accommodation to give her some quiet space for their 6 month baby. I originally booked 110 but when I spoke to Amy she very kindly rearrange the booking to put us in adjacent properties which worked out perfectly.

We cannot fault the accommodation. Both lodges were clean, comfortable, very spacious, great en-suite showers and bathroom. Big outdoor dining table (107) overlooking the water with ducks and geese. 106b (2 bed lodge) looked newly decorated with some lovely calm design features.

Overall more than pleased and will use Queenwood next time we come to Retallack

We just returned from a lovely week staying in Skylark. The lodge was spacious and having two lounge areas on separate floors was great for our three generations. The pre teens enjoyed having their own space and the pool table was enjoyed regularly. Having our own space behind the lodge was a bonus as it meant the kids could play badminton and swingball (which we took with us) without bothering anyone else.
The hot tub was always a nice temperature and enjoyed by everyone.
We have made a few suggestions to Amy about some little maintenance issues but nothing major. These were gratefully received and nothing that spoiled our enjoyment or our wonderful holiday.

Stayed at Trevone 43 for 7 nights. Had some difficulties to get an answer from Amy in the weeks before arriving, ended up to be cleard short before arrival. As it was an important question to be solved for my disabled mother, it was a little nerve wracking that it took so long and needed so many follow up e-mails, etc.
House was very spacious and suited us very well, also for my mother in her wheelchair. We had a special bed delivered or her, that was delivered before our arrival and Paul (maintanance) was helpful to sort things out with the company delivering the bed.
Bedrooms have carpets, so people in wheelchairs need some one to push them.. as you can hardly move with a wheelchair on the carpet.
Inside of the house was perfect, spacious, clean, had all we needed. Terrace is big and offers a big table. The table could need some refurbishment or deep cleaning. Maybe there should be a cover to keep it in better shape. The cushions for the outdoor seating where lying on the floor behind the hot tub, they where filthy and dirty.. no one would want to use them. I don't understand how this can be left like this upon arrival and how they expect someone to use those filthy cushions. Also the outside of the house, especially around the terrace would need some more cleaing before arrival (cobwebs). For the amount of money someone pays to stay - everything should be perfect.
Hot tub itself worked perfect, was clean and we loved it.

We had a great stay, there is lot's to explore at the resort and it's a great location to explore Cornwall.

Just returned from a wonderful stay in Sandpipers with our kids - we all loved exploring North Cornwall and coming back for fun family time in the sauna and hot tub on our terrace ! Sandpipers was so well equipped, beds so comfy and 2 en-suite bathrooms was a real treat for us. The log burner was nice in the evening, we just took those light a logs from Amazon which worked well. We booked the kids onto the flow rider which they loved and they swam in the indoor pool every day. Only ate once in the lookout restaurant on site which was great to not have to cook and easy as it’s in walking distance and they used the play ground by it.
Amy was great and we will definitely come back.

Just returned from a long weekend at herons house retallack resort, everyone had a fantastic time. The heated pool, hot tub and outdoor area was amazing.
Very clean and in a peaceful spot, we will definitely be returning in the future.

My family have been holidaying at The Herons for over 10 years, we absolutely love it. We consider it our home from home, our happy place.

There will always be a special place in our hearts for The Herons, our children have grown up holidaying there.

We hope to holiday there for many more years to come, the year just wouldn’t be the same without a family stay at The Herons making precious memories.

We just returned from a week at Kingfisher and what a week it was! The house was a little piece of heaven. Absolutely spotlessly clean and gorgeous views over the lake. It was superbly equipped with everything we needed with lots of glasses, dishes and cookware. They really thought of everything which made cooking family meals in the property simple. There was even a dishwasher to save the chore of washing up after! This was billed as a wheelchair accessible property and it was perfect for my dad. There was a bedroom and disabled friendly bathroom on the ground floor and Amy even kindly provided a shower chair. The only thing I would say was that the lips over the front door and terrace were too large for a wheelchair so my dad had to transfer. He was ok with his stick however if you are unable to transfer out of your wheelchair this would not be a suitable property. The only improvement I could offer was that communication was not the best after booking. We had reached out to see if there was anywhere we could leave our bags before the check in time of 4 as my brother needed to pick myself and my dad up from the airport and couldn’t fit his wheelchair in with the luggage. No one got back to us so we had to take a taxi from the airport.

However this was just a small point and I mention it only for feedback as planning is really important particularly when navigating an accessible holiday. In summary however we absolutely loved this place. The house was beautiful and we had the best week. We can’t wait to return!
