I have been a client of QA for a number of years - My partner and I have 'older' cars which have been kept in A1 condition by Neil, Colin and the team. Neil is the driver for the quality of service, estimates, and ensurance that you will get value for money and a top class service. Colin is the engineering technician that heads the team of mechanics and provides quality appraisal, repair or replacement of system components. I can highly recommend this group of guys, including currently, Nathan, Barnie and Jonesy. If you need a vehicle job done - then job done.

The heating in my car didn’t blow hot air, I had been told by another car garage that the only solution to repair the heating was to remove the dashboard of my Seat Leon, which meant more than £1000.
I contacted Quantum Automotive and they told me that it was not necessary to remove the dashboard to access the heating radiator, they fixed the heating quickly and without having to remove the dashboard. A professional team, very happy with the service!

DO NOT GET YOUR CAR FIXED HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY MORE THAN YOU SHOULD. Quantum Automotives gave me an initial quote of £2000 ( labour-£700, parts-£1300 ), to get clutch kit and flywheel changed including all new parts and labour. After I had the car towed all the way from South Belfast to Ballyclare, the next day they said sorry we actually cannot get the part. This was after I had checked with them if they can definitely get parts because other garages said they can’t right now. They should have called the parts place and checked.
Then I said okay, what if I get an entire gearbox and flywheel from breakers? Can you guys do the labour, which they were happy do to for £1100 ( just labour ). After the parts were dropped to them they started the work. Next day I get another call saying the flywheel has a noise and we have to buy a new one from Mercedes. Another big mistake by them that they didn’t check parts until the car was in bits and they needed the part quickly. Next day I get another call, it’s taking longer than expected and it’s going to be an extra 4 hours labour. I called 3 different garages to check if this was normal ( Mercedes specialists ). They all said 9-12hrs maximum for this job, unless the mechanic doesn't know what they doing. Yet Quantum said it took them over 20hrs to get job done. When I went to pay it came to £2360 ( from the original £1100 labour cost ) after I had already bought the parts for them. Two big mistakes by them cost the customer extra £700. I would also be careful of the person in charge because he’s definitely a good sales person which is great for garage but not for the customer. I felt like he was just telling me what he thought I wanted to hear in order to make the most money out of me. I have paid the full amount but put down “paying with protest” on the receipt as advised by the citizens advice bureau so that I can have this investigated.
I really do feel taken advantage of by these guys and would not recommend to anyone else.
