I cannot write a more positive review about my year and a bit with QT Education (which seems strange to say, as supply teaching doesn't have reputation of being the easiest job...)

Chatting in staffrooms, you realise how well respected QT are throughout the South West by teachers and schools alike. On the only occasion I did feel that I needed a hand from Chris and the team, the problem was resolved - and I was immensley supported - by the time I got into school the next morning. I was able to build some solid relationships with local schools, and really felt like a welcome addition to the community due to the consistency of work. I worked for QT during my MA, so had lots of late timetable changes and a few extended breaks for revision; QT worked around this and I can't thank them enough for their flexibility.

My experience with QT is that they offer a friendly and courteous service and hold strong connections to the schools where they provide teaching support. Benefits of working for QT is how flexible they are to your needs. Although it is best to remain flexible you can state the days you are available for work and how far you are prepared to travel and this will be taken into account. Also, they are committed to finding you the most suitable appointments. I was booked for three months delivering in my subject specialism. In addition you are given the chance to experience a variety of subjects. The salary is set at a daily rate and is in line with current market trends. I recommend QT as a highly professional agency if you want to expand your teaching skills or want more control of your work life.

Moving from Australia to Southwest England, it was daunting to find an agency and fortunately, I was recommended QT Education. Chris Bishop, my agent consultant, was nothing short of supportive and understanding during my time working with QT Education. Working as a supply teacher can be challenging, but Chris was very understanding of my requests and availability and went above and beyond to make sure I felt supportive walking into the school. QT have strong working relationship with an extensive amount of schools, so there are options to find work at a school that is the right fit for you. Chris also emails the teachers weekly with updates and availability requests for the following week, which helped feel like you are looked after as part of the team.
