Our second trip out with puffin cruises today. First on the river cruise a few weeks ago, which was fantastic, relaxed and informative. I was born here, and learnt so much more about this wonderful area from Ian (my little one loved driving the boat too)!

We just had to go back today for the full pirate experience on the black puffin, with a group of 4yr olds. Ian was amazing again, full of energy and fun, everyone had the best time. Would highly, highly recommend both to locals as well as visitors. A real gem. ‍️

Truly magnificent. The short boat trip was perfect for this land lubber to get his sea legs. Apart from the sights the commentary by the skipper was fabulous and worth the money alone. There's a fella doing a job he loves.

We went on the 30 minute trip today, what a great experience if you want a cruise around the marina and out on the river. Ian the skipper is a knowledgeable guide and a great laugh, he even let me take the helm on the way back in! We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed it, I'd definitely recommend this when visiting Lymington.

Our boys aged 5 & 7 had a lovely trip aboard the Black Puffin pirate ship. It was a great 30 minute trip down Lymington River for both the children and adults alike. We “fired the cannons” at people cruising down the river and even had another local company play their part of firing at us when we happened to go past them , which I thought was very sporting. Plenty of pirate toys for kids to play with and lots of lovely decor details onboard but what REALLY makes the trip is the Captain - what a role he plays! Absolutely fantastic for the kids, a real life pirate captain, getting a drive of the boat, toys, dress up and a sweet treat at the end. Just perfect!

If you’re looking for a very enjoyable way to spend time by the sea we highly recommend Puffin Billi short cruises from Lymington Quay. The trip lasts for 30 minutes and sails down Lymington River. The boat is small but comfortable and the commentary is interesting and informative. It is a small family run business, not a large organisation and it is its individualism that makes it so appealing. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had such a lovely day in the New Forest then a visit down to Lymington Quay to where we came across Puffin Billi, a short boat trip around the harbour, and we could buy tickets there and then. It was 30 minutes of great fun where the very knowledgeable Ian, our skipper gave us a very interesting and informative commentary about the working harbour, the wildlife, the surrounding boats and anything else to do with the busy harbour. Family business, husband and wife team who are so friendly. So next time you are visiting Lymington Quay, visit these guys you will not be disappointed, and we will be going again, would recommend this lovely trip.
