Cerrie was an excellent guide for our quick tour of the city. I was amazed at how much we got to see and learn during our tour. Cerrie was extremely knowledgeable and provided insight you wouldn’t get from other tours. Very much enjoyed our time with her and would highly recommend.

Quick trip to London and we needed someone to not just guide us around London but create an experience for a family of four. Micheal exceeded every expectation. There's always trepidation with online booking. Are you going to get beheaded at the Tower of London or buried at Westminster Abbey? Hopefully you don't fall into concrete like Winston Churchill. Not worry, nothing to fear with Michael here.

Such a well planned private experience that we were looking for. The four of us all had a little bit different tastes. Some needed context stories. Other's history. Other's just sites to see. Michael provided for all. Well worth every quid (pound.) Would highly recommend. In fact, I will for friends coming in June.

Pick up by car was exactly on time as promised. Easy to find. Came direct to hotel. Driver (we had a driver and guide) was professional and car was extremely clean and comfortable (a large van). Small touches like water provided. It just made the experience.

All tickets provided as promised to the three major sites: Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, and Churchill War Room. Avoid most major lines.

Guide went along the whole way and provided context and history lessons (except in just a few areas where guides aren't allowed to go).

Pick up and drop-off at locations was excellent. We walked to a few locations just to experience the town (this was a private tour after all) and Micheal explained the significance to the town the whole way. Really gained insight into both historic and modern London.

Took some time off for lunch as planned. Place recommended by guide. Don't worry, this wasn't one of those situations where you worried about kick backs for the guide. Found a traditional London pub with excellent atmosphere. Asked him to join us (as he didn't want to intrude). Took that time not only to get food suggestions, but also to learn more about things we saw in the first half of the day. Such a nice experience.

Guide is incredibly knowledgeable yet entertaining. Breath of knowledge is truly remarkable. This is the way to take on historic sites. Google Machine right at your finger tips and he's human.

FInal drop-off at front door of hotel. Truly amazing day. Really want to thank both of them.

Amazing! From the moment I contacted Gio to the whole day tour everything was simple and amazing. We wanted to make the most of our one day and our pickup and drop off at the train station was flawless and our guide Charlotte (and her driver) were terrific. She made sure my girls were able to see and do everything they wanted, recommended the best spot for lunch, and so much more. There are not enough words to describe how wonder our tour, guide, and driver were. We hope to visit again and will only use Private London Tours!!

My private tour of London with Joanna including Buckingham Palace, change of gaurd, St. James Palace and Westminster Abbey was absolutely fantastic! Joanna's knowledge and history of London far exceeded my expectations. Westminster Abbey is gorgeous! This is the best private tour that I have taken. I highly recommend taking this private tour and will definitely do it again. Kudos on a tour very well done!

My family of 5 had a great experience with Private London Tours! Gio helped us organize and set up tours and itinerary, giving suggestions for kid-friendly options. Timely and thorough responses to questions throughout the planning process as well as during our trip. Private London tours set us up with two very knowledgeable tour guides, Dani and Jackie. We got to see Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Churchill War room, Natural history Museum and experience the London Eye and Changing of the Guard. Dani kept kids engaged with her fun energy and interjecting fun facts in the history. She kept us on track and even pointed out sites nearby that were relevant to our home state. Jackie kept kids engaged as well, teaching history as if telling a story. We enjoyed learning about the history at our sites and hope to retain a tiny fraction of what these ladies know. Both tour guides picked us up at our hotel, and Private London Tours arranged for our pickup from airport and drop-off at train station. They really simplified what could've been overwhelming and made our trip all the more enjoyable. We will definitely be using Private London Tours, Dani and Jackie again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with this company. After visiting with several potential guides, Gio made it obvious that his company was the perfect fit! He took the time we had in London and Edinburgh, along with a list of our desired locations to visit and tailored our tour to make the most of every second.
The guides we met each day were extraordinary. Ron made Westminster Abbey come to life with his wealth of knowledge (even though we were fighting an extreme case of jet lag ?), Rowan knew exactly where to place us for the best views of the changing of the guard at Buckingham palace and managed to have my 10 and 5 year old entranced with the Tower of London. The tour even arranged to drop us off at London Stadium to watch the Cardinals v Cubs in the London Series!
Finally, Sarah made our time in Edinburgh perfection. She is the sweetest, friendliest, and most knowledgeable guide in Scotland. She is our new adopted cousin and we hope to go back to see her soon. My 10 year old daughter says that Sarah was the best part of the trip?! She tailored the day to meet our every desire, including the Harry Potter fans along the way!

I've been to London a few times previously but my wife was basically going for 1st time so I schedule a private city tour and day your to Stonehenge and Bathe. Our tour guide Mark was excellent and accommodating. Highly recommend this company for your London PRIVATE tours!
