I have wanted to visit here for a while and it surpassed my expectations! The carpark is spacious and level, with an information board and map. There were paper maps at both carparks, and bins. The routes were all signposted and I found the map easy to follow. I also saw lots of information boards around the woods. I could even see the sea from the viewpoint! It is clearly well loved and looked after.

I stopped off here on a very wet October morning, yet I still enjoyed a pleasant walk through the woods here. The car park is pretty basic with a map of the area and some picnic tables nicely set out at the far end. It's a shame the Tea Rooms appear to be no more though, as I would happily have parted with some of my hard-earned for some tea and cake in the lovely setting of the woods.

Free parking. Lovely woods to walk in. The viewpoint has no view to speak off (see picture), in Summer at least, maybe in winter with no leaves on the trees?! Still, if you are looking for a hill to climb in the area it's probably the only one around.

Really good woodland walks, short or as long as you crave. Parking and no pay and display which seem to have bred during COVID lockdown invading every carpark in Norfolk
