Good breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Helpful staff. All we might reasonably have expected.||The car park costs £7 per 24 hours for hotel guests. WiFi mostly didn't work.||This review needs to be at least two hundred characters, so here are a few more.

Overall, a good experience.

Whilst I got a slight impression that they were short staffed, the staff were friendly and very helpful with any queries.

My room was good value - although there was an issue with my room after I checked in, it was quickly resolved.

The hotel is in a good location - it's close to the centre of Seaton, so it's easy to walk into the town centre. The on site parking - although chargeable (£7 a day) - was very convenient and spacious.

There is also a large Tesco just over the road, which is very helpful for any essentials etc.

Although I only had drinks in the restaurant/bar rather than a meal, there look to be good options for both breakfast and dinner.

Comfortable , warm and welcoming. Simple room/ bathroom both very clean and bed very comfortable. Restaurant was extremely useful on cold Sunday evening ( menu adequate but limited) and breakfast was good . On site parking good but £7/night.

Have stayed here before. Bed & pillows so so comfortable. Slept like a baby.|Room spotless, great pressure shower. |Restaurant great value. On the small side, also could do with another toaster, present one very slow . Good choice of continental and cooked breakfast. I think the continental juices could be on another table to help with the crowning around the breakfast bar.

Simply the worst stay in a Premier Inn. ||||Skeleton staff upon arrival, just 2 people. Someone made the decision that their Christmas party was far more important than the motel. The 2 staff had been in their job rolls approximately 1-3 days. This meant check-in was (NOT) entertaining. It was lengthy and arduous. Not that I blame the lovely staff member who was still trying to learn systems and had no one for help. The bar was not open and set up at 1615, and the other new member could not find anything. Again, I could not blame her she did the best she could. The 2 girls' efforts were the only decent thing about the stay, which was a joke.||Th bar wow!||There was next to no stock behind the bar. ||In all the years my family and I have used premier Inn, I have never seen a bar open at past 4 pm on any day, let alone Friday! And on a Friday over (especially) Christmas, i have never been told that the bar shuts at 9 pm and then by a completely different member of staff 10pm. This is a premier Inn that we have stayed at and was never told this before! Or been told this conflicting information. ||I have also never been to a premier Inn where multiple drunk staff are wondering about the premises and being asses. And other people we assumed (only because they were with the drunk off duty staff). where staff off duty walked freely around the place. In and out the kitchen. Behind the bar. Not in uniform. ||||I also found it staggering the bar was told to us to be closed at 9pm or 10 pm depending on who was spinning the story. But the shutdown of the bar and its shutters was not done until it was gone midnight. As a member of hospitality for many years, I can honestly say the place was not dirty, but it was a total s### show. ||||The were annoyances about the room. But they were minor compared to the public areas. ||||Room:||No toilet brush that really annoys me, but I get annoyed every time as that's normal. ||||I think someone was in a rush. And left things looking sloppy. But I reiterate, this was minor.

I ended up at the Premier Inn in Seaton unexpectedly after a power cut at another location forced a change of plans. The transfer of my booking was handled exceptionally well, and I arrived to find everything ready for me.

The reception staff were welcoming and ensured I was settled in without any hassle. During my stay, the restaurant staff also went above and beyond to look after me, providing excellent service that made me feel truly cared for.

What could have been a stressful situation turned into a very positive experience thanks to the smooth transition and outstanding hospitality. I would highly recommend this hotel and its fantastic team to anyone visiting the area.

This Premier Inn is in a nice central position, walking distance to the sea front, shops and Seaton Tramway. Very central to everything in Seaton town and there's a Tesco Superstore, just across the road. The on site carpark is really handy and at £7 for our 24 hr stay reasonable. We had spent a few days at the Warner hotel, in Chard (which was amazing!!) and as townies decided to have a last chilled day near the sea, before driving home and preparing for Christmas day. Seaton itself is s bit tired but very central to other places. Beer, Sidmouth, Lyne Regis are definitely worth visiting. River Cottage HQ too Staying here you are right on Devon and Somerset borders so lots of places to visit. Seaton Premier Inn - was very clean, staff welcoming and helpful (we booked for a twin and got double but swiftly rectified). We had booked an early 11am room access time (in advance for £10) and worth doing. Lovely, clean room with tea, coffee facilities and hair dryer. Plenty of lovely clean white towels and bed linen. A good standard throughout hotel and value for money We only ate breakfast, for convenience. Self service and overall good value. Continenta breakfastl - no problem, But would have preferred a 'cooked to order' hot breakfast as the food was only just above warm at best. Fried eggs overcooked and rubbery scrambled egg. Don't like deep fried food, eg the sausages and hashbrowns, so tend to avoid them. However on request (when we went in) perfectly cooked poached eggs were made for us. Tea and coffee from a machine |Overall more than happy with our one night stay. Hotel perfectly placed, all areas of the hotel and our room were clean, staff pleasant, car park on site (paying) and breakfast didn't have to be ordered in advance of stay. Dinner does though apparently, although this info wasn't clear at time of booking so I rang the hotel and was told we didn't need to book and pay for breakfast in advance, but did for.dinner. Breakfast wasn't busy at 8.00am but was when we left at 11am, so be aware of that, as restraunt isnt overly big. It was December (21st) and not busy but expect hotel can be at certain tumes if the year. |If we were staying in the area again, and didnt need other than basic facilities for a few days, we both agree we would definitely consider use as a base and stay here again. |Tips. We noticed parking on Seaton seafront is free (think end Oct to March). If wanting breakfast here suggest, if you're not booking in advance, try and book when checking in OR have an early brekkie as likely less.people

Thank you very much to Receptionist Nathan and colleagues for their outstanding support last week when the snow hit and the roads were impassable. They were extremely kind and helpful.and kept us up to date with the changing road conditions.
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the spring. Seaton and the surrounding area is well worth a visit.
