Just home from a 2 night stay here after visiting family in Winthorpe. We were greeted by a lovely lady in reception called Vicki on our arrival Friday evening. Helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean and with coffee/tea making facilities. We didnt eat in the restaurant so we are unable to comment on the food.

Very impressed with our overnight stay whilst visiting relatives. Greeted at reception by a lovely lady. Very good room and immaculate bathroom. Paid for the full english breakfast which was also very good value, great selection of quality cooked food plus fruit and pastries, eaten in lovely environment.
There were plenty of parking spaces and if you were just coming good for a meal the parking was free but overnight parking hadn't additional charge, would be easier to be able to add this when booking the room online rather than having good to pay on phone when you've arrived after a long journey.

jenny the young receptionist working the desk on Friday was lovely., she was very chatty and provided a lot of usefull information regarding our visit in Newark and where to eat. breakfast next door was great.|no aircon! which is crazy in this day and age.|car parking not free anymore ... very strange...

Wonderful reception Staff. I stay in a lot of Premier inns for work and always get a nice greeting at reception but I have to say the greeting and service I received today was by far the best experience I have ever had. Nothing was to much trouble from the early check in to sorting breakfast the reception staff were helpful and so friendly.

Arrived in 30C heat - no air con - no fan - tap water just luke-warm - no bottled drinking water - no tissues - car parking charge of £5.50p per night. |Sleep disturbed by lorry deliveries overnight - How can they justify charging £152 for the night just for a "tired" room and extra for a disappointing breakfast in the Brewers Fayre restaurant.|I have stayed at hotels in city centres for less than this and they include breakfast !

I booked this hotel on the basis of location and its EV charger. I realise that EV chargers are occasionally in use or temporarily out of service but this one has, according to the helpful receptionist, been out of service for over three months. That means that Premier Inn are deliberately misleading customers. In fact they still haven’t amended the website a week after I reported it.
