We had an excellent experience with Practical Car and Van Hire in Stockton last weekend, when we needed to hire three minibuses to transport our field hockey team to London. I hired a car that wasn't fit for purpose, the gear box was clearly faulty. It on more than one occasion wouldn't go into gear and the gear changes are horrendous. Apparently they are all like that is the response I got. The guy serving just brushed it off completely, big meat head who thinks he can say what he wants.

The radio didn't work, the usb charger didn't work which isn't good considering it has no sat nav.

I didn't even get an apology, not even a gesture of a discount. The whole attitude was embarrassing as a company providing a service. As a consumer we pay more and more and the level of service goes the other way.

Very disappointing practical car hire, I won't be using you again.

Booked a 15 seat minibus in January for September went to pick it up and had been up graded to a 17 seat . Over the moon receptionist was really nice and pleasant couldn't fault them , would definitely rent from them again and definitely recommend to eanybody looking for a vehicle rental company thank you.
