Another fantastic Portsmouth Foodguide event! Held at the Sir Loin of Beef - Battle of the beers - some great choices and certainly giving a lot of great flavours. The team is fabulous and the event was a full house so don't delay in booking tickets for future events!

We had a lovely day in Portsmouth.

Really enjoyed the Nosh Box, although there was way too much food, and the owner gave us a cake dessert we took with us as well, that was delicious

Walking was fine, and the weather was slightly colder than expected, but not much and no rain, so that was good. The faux pas at the station was on me, I did not read the instructions and got off at the wrong station, but we had time to eat.

The harbour tour was great, although, again, I misread the instructions and went to the on/off point in the navy yard (HMS Nelson), which was fine, but meant we didn't have time to go round the mall much. No issue though.

The walk to the Canteen area was nice and we had a drink at the Still and West and The Dolphin. The location and view at The Canteen was nice, but the food was so so. Would've preferred to eat at the Still and West or Dolphin, but then we likely wouldn't have stopped at the Canteen and seen the view.

Josh at the distillery was excellent and really pleased he opened for us. It was rather dark when we left so got an Uber back to the station and back to the hotel, late, but safely.
