Stunning memorial to the sacrifice of local men and boys. Especially touching to see three James Mcmullen’s and Joseph Diamond junior and senior lost in WWI. 😔 love to see the plaque to the US army airborne as well 🇺🇸

Stopping at visitor centres is a great way to start your exploration. I have found very nice staff here in Portrush and their suggestions added to my trip that human touch that Google Maps cannot provide you.

We dropped in to the visitor information centre and right away Dawn was giving us all the information we needed to fill our time on the Causeway Coast.
What a sensational time we had!
I think I've left a little piece of my heart in Northern Ireland.
Thanks Again Dawn

So disappointed in Portrush. Little or nothing to do for adults or children. No water world, closed over 2yrs, Barry's closed also, a few wee rides in place. Foggy most of the time so swimming impossible. Shops dreadful, full of 'cheap toy tat'. The worst experience was trying to get somewhere to eat each night. Most places 45m wait, no booking in advance, everything ordered and paid for via online from your phone if you were lucky enough to get a table. Shop assistants didn't seem interested in your business, as if you were bothering them. A very different place to the last time we were there. Would not recommend it. Trip to Port Stewart better.

Stopped in for bus route info, and glad we did! The worker was so helpful and friendly. The pamphlets we picked up were good as well. A must stop for every tourist in Portrush.

Only visited the place for a civil wedding, didn't go to the visitor centre.

For a wedding venue though, the place is beautiful. Great views and a wonderful space to get married in.
