Great place to visit when you down seaside Weymouth way. This island should have wayore credit as it's brilliant and there is sooo much to do for whole family from hikes and walks to climbing and relaxing and swimming.

For the time of year it was mild, sunny and less busy than expected… parking is a little steep but well worth the views. You should visit here at least once in your lifetime, and let the kids clamber across the rocks, with supervision by the water!! Memorable as a child and even more so as a parent….

Great looking lighthouse, in white and red, standing at 135ft and dating from 1906. The lighthouse now uses LED lanterns but the original three and a half tonne lens, used when it was first constructed, can still be seen in the visitor centre. Great area for a wander and lots to see.

Excellent place to visit. Fab views and lots of history on display. Highly recommend.
Enjoyed a bit of coastal walk at the Bill too. Saw some seals in the water and views are spectacular

Lovely little visit to a lovely lighthouse. We had the tour which was enjoyable. Portland Bill is a fascinating bit of coastal scenery that adds to the view and visit.

recommend spending 1-2 hours here, it was great to see and also have a walk around. they do lighthouse tours and have a gift shop and coffee shop here. was a lovely day out.

Great place to go and visit. We stayed nearby so didn’t need to pay to park as we walked. Lovely and clean. Cute little gift shop packed with trinkets. Interesting area to visit with information about the lighthouse and guided tours where you can climb to the top but we chose not to do this. Plenty to see around the lighthouse including visiting pulpit rock or seal spotting on the cliff tops. The kids climbed down to the water behind the Lobster Pot and loved it! A really beautiful place to pass a few hours and refreshments available at the Lobster Pot next door.

Iconic lighthouse on the southern end of the Isle of Portland. There’s a visitor centre inside and tours up the inside of the lighthouse. Around there area is a large car park, some interesting rocks and caves, a fishing village, restaurant, toilets walks. Enjoy!
