We live in Bideford Devon and my wife was visiting relatives in Market Rasen when her car developed a brake problem. Pit stop garage were able to carry out all the repairs at very short notice, excellent work and a very competitive price. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This is an excellent garage,very trustworthy and reliable. Thank you so much for all your help

Terrible slow customer service and extortionate excess on hire - new insurance company apparently…increased by £1100 since the exact same hire in January. Despite going in to the office to sort the hire 3pm the day before and pay the hire charge they didn’t inform of the increase until gone 0930am after us waiting to start the hire from 8-am. Asked for a reduction in hire as we had an appointment an hour away at 10am which we had now missed. Were told no discount could be offered in-spite of losing 2 hours off the hire period - so walked away and told them to keep their van tyvm. Now just to wait for the hire to be refunded.

Recently hired a Ford transit custom from Pitstop . Very easy to deal with fast and efficient service.Great price. Van was not a basic model very high spec clean & tidy reliable vehicle. Highly recommended.

Engine failure amber light showed on my dashboard during a long haul from Perthshire to Suffolk today and I found myself in Market Rasen near Pitstop Garage. Hugely impressed by owner/partner, Pete. Despite being very busy at the garage - and me dropping in in an emergency - without an appointment - Pete agreed to plug his computer into my engine management system to identify the cause of my dashboard warning lights. He spent about 20 minutes diagnosing the issue and refused to take any payment. In my experience this is unheard of. Congratulations to Pitstop, and Pete in particular, for such willingness to help out a stranger in difficult circumstances. Great to find someone who puts good service and humanity ahead of greed and selfishness. Have a great Christmas Pete - thank you.
