Normally there's a cafe here but, due to restrictions, it's not open at the moment (April 2021). I'm here because I moore my narrowboat here, its a great walking area. If you walk south on the Grand Union for a couple of miles you'll come to a pretty village with stocks on the green and a good pub, The Red Lion, or you can walk a mile away from the car park to The Old Swan, another really old pub (17c) which serves excellent food. Beautiful stretch of the Grand Union. Easy parking. Nice walk to Startop reservoir and coffee at the Watersend cafe.

A nice calming wharf and marina with a lovley bridge no 126 for taking photos on ive been here 3 times i went today and done my 6 mile canal walk i also went in june and july

Lovely place to walk and take in the countryside. A very scenic part of the canal. I'm a fisherman and this is also a great spot for carp and course fishing. The car park is quite small though so weekends it can be quite hard to find a space.

It's quiet .... did I mention quiet? Not a thing going wrong... Kids are playing; wife very quiet; I hardly dare breath. I think this is what relaxation is...who knew I've just looked around and it's still quiet...think I just saw a fish.. Think we'll pack another picnic and see if the quiet gets quieter...

Lovely marina, in a tranquil, countryside setting, ideal place from which to take a walk along the canal or try your luck at fishing. The little cafe has parking, and when it's open, is just the place for those in need of a cuppa and cake.

A tranquil marina for the historic British barge community. The marina is located close to the Swan public house. Spending time on a traditional barge is a splendid way to see England and Pitstone marina is an integral part of this.
