A great place to bring the kids. Not just a butterfly world, but also a creepy crawly, meerkat, farm yard, and don't forget the parrots! There's also an indoor play area, a picnic and outdoor play park. Great day out!

As a small zoo I must say I was impressed by what they've done with their size. The tropical house is definitely smart and well kept. The bug room was also really good. It's nice to see invertebrates also really well kept. Nice large enclosures and appropriate lighting. Overall a very nice little gem of a zoo!

Lovely day out, heaps to see and great outdoor play areas and indoor soft play. Ideal for mixed weather. Cafe bit overpriced but ok. Kids loved walking through the butterflies!

Wow what a change. I remember going about 20 years ago and the development and improvement since then is wonderful to see. Of course the animals and play areas etc are wonderful but what impressed me the most was the staff. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable and brilliant with the kids... It won't be another 20 years before I go back..

Lovely day out, loved all the creatures and the butterflies were wonderful, I could have stood and watched for ages. The play areas are fantastic and definitely a massive hit with my 6 and 4 Yr olds.

This place has the potential to be great. We visited on a Friday afternoon, so it was very quiet, which is actually great for seeing the animals.
It’s very small, so don’t expect it to be a full day out if you’re child free.
There is a good outdoors area for kids, so I imagine it’s great during holidays.

A day well spent. Has an indoor soft-play, outdoor playground, butterfly garden and a lot more to offer. Definitely worth a visit when around this area!

Third time visiting, one very happy 5 year old enjoyed herself, lots of healthy happy looking animals in well cared for enclosures. But I do wish the huge Albino Burmese Python had something more going on in their enclosure considering it's a natural forest dweller, it made us sad to see such a huge beautiful creature in a grey box. Hopefully someone who works there will see this and can explain or suggest improvements, maybe they were in the middle of changing it, I hope so.
Other than snake concerns, we had a nice day out as always.
