We have been working in partnership with Pie Events over the last few years to deliver our annual bike ride "Teddy's Tour" for our charity Teddy's Wish. Pie have consistently delivered on support and providing a wonderful experience for our cyclists. I did my first Pie event in 2004 and having done other charity events organised by other companies Pie are world class and definitely best in class!!
They meticulously manage every detail and go to extraordinary lengths to make sure that riders/walkers/participants are fully equipped to enjoy the event and enjoy it safely (including medics!!). The routes are planned and at times re-planned with participants at their heart and the Guides know the routes and are always so supportive - which is definitely not the case with other companies… I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my event.

PIE organised and managed the Bury St Edmunds Rugby Football Club (BSERFC) 50th Anniversary Memorial Cycle Ride 2024.

The event was held over six days from Compiegne, France to Bury St Edmunds. It involved 60 riders cycling nearly 400 miles and raised over £200k for local charities: the Haberden Trust (BSERFC) and St Nicholas Hospice Care.

In summary, the whole event was a great success.

PIE bid competitively for the event in mid 2023. PIE worked with the BSERFC team for over a year to deliver a great cycling experience over six days in September 2024.

The total event stretched everyone in a good way, both experienced cyclists and those with less experience were challenged. The support from the PIE team and a group of BSERFC volunteers contributed to helping the riders rise to the challenge.

PIE were responsible for the whole itinerary, route, booking hotels, ferry travel and ride support. All aspects of the event were very well managed and coordinated.

Working with PIE was very easy and efficient. The whole PIE team, lead by Tom Gregory, supported the riders and the BSERFC volunteers very well. They were easy to work with and accommodated our needs patiently, effectively and with good humour.

We would thoroughly recommend using PIE for similar events.
