Peterborough Sailability is set up to provide a sailing experience to those in the community with a disability. I believe it runs on two days a week from Ferry Meadows and rightly situated by the main outdoor activities centre on Gunwade Lake. It is run by a heroic team of expert volunteers who give up so much of their time for those with disabilities. There is a hoist to help customers into a variety of sailing craft and it is run in a very safe manner with enjoyment at the heart of the experience. I haven't used it myself but see and speak to them regularly when taking my own craft out. Some of the customers are very disabled in all sorts of ways but that doesn't preclude anyone with a disability from having the chance to enjoy life through this activity. A marvellous setup.

Would be a 5 star but after today's experience it lost a few stars the buddy I was assigned treated me like a kid and was very rude towards me
