Great location just outside of Perranporth, 5-10min walk down the hill. Only downside steep ole walk back to if you have a few to many to drink on the beach. Vale have 2 sites and both are tidy & clean and all staff are lovely. Even met 2 plumbers who came to check the boiler out, who aren't actually employees but still were chatty and friendly.
Would definitely go back here again

Lovely spot, excellent staff, lovely caravans. Only thing missing was clothes washing facilities, otherwise it was 9/10. Very close to the coastal towns

Vale have 2 sites near Perranporth, we stayed at the Perran Heights site just up the road from Liskey Hill.
The staff seem to go between the 2 sites, being based mainly at LH. We were instructed to collect keys from LH reception before heading up to PH but ended up getting them from PH reception in the end. It was explained in the email prior to arrival and the sites are a minutes drive apart so no problem at all.
The ladies at reception were lovely.
PH site is still unfinished. There are about 10/12 caravans there at the moment, alot of empty plots ready for the caravans to be placed, and further down it's a building site with excavators etc.
We weren't bothered by the noise of work during the day, it was far enough away that it wasn't an issue at all.
*I had read other reviews and was aware at the time of booking that the site was unfinished and could expect noise from the work going on.
Be aware the site has no amenities but it does state that on the website and LH is just a minute away, I believe they have a laundrette there.
And Perranporth is a very short drive away (I would not recommend trying to walk that road, it is very busy and not safe if you have children)
We stayed in the Platinum Hot Tub caravan.
Everywhere has their own definitions for what's classed as 'platinum' 'diamond' etc. Personally I would say it was on par with a 'gold' when I compare it to other places we have stayed at. I would probably go for their 'diamond' if we were to go back to Cornwall ( after 4 visits this past year, in a different area each time PH is now our top choice for next time)
The caravan we stayed in was quite new and immaculate, cleanest we have ever stayed in. Very nicely decorated. Everything you need.
The kitchen was well equipped, happy to find it had a dishwasher that wasn't listed in the features. Good size fridge and freezer
The welcome pack was lovely (although as a non-drinker with young child I would of preferred a pack of biccies instead of the wine and beer, but I do appreciate the gesture)
The beds were very comfortable.
Towels are provided but quite small, I recommend you take your own aswell, especially if staying in a Hot tub caravan.
A clothes airer is provided but there wasn't really anywhere to hang it as it doesn't fit on the decking fence.
There was a TV in each room, the kids were very happy they could get on Netflix.
The WiFi is the best we have experienced on any of our Cornwall stays. My partner said it looks like they have done 'a proper job of it', he lost me when he started going on about different frequencies, ping etc; but yeah, much better than any other place we have stayed at which really matters to the partner and teen.
We had a really peaceful stay. I would definitely return to this site.

Not far from the beach my only complaint was that there was no wifi service and not many caravans about the camp seemed and is unfinished. But our caravan was immaculate and and really well furnished.

We arrived to a closed reception and our caravan keys stuck on reception door. To our surprise, this was not a holiday park but a caravan site which was unfinished. There were 11 caravans on a site, with many unfilled plots. The views from the caravan were of diggers and debris, not the rolling hills advertised on the Hoseasons site. The diggers were in operation during the weekdays. Reception was not open at any point during our holiday (as advertised on the website). There is a number you can call for the local sister caravan site. They also replied to an email query in 24 hrs.

Probably the nicest caravan we have stayed in. Three TVs, DVD player, dishwasher, two toilets. One with a bath, which is unusual. Great WiFi throughout the holiday. There was prosecco and beer left for us on arrival which was a nice touch.

The site was quiet when the diggers had stopped.

Sales information stuck all all over the windows was off-putting.

Staff walking around with clipboards on two days made you feel like a fish in a bowl.

As a base this is great but it is not a boutique 'caravan park'. There are no facilities available on site. Perhaps the advertising needs to be more honest.

Lovely location for visiting all of Cornwall. Very peaceful site, this may change when the site is full. Only a small amount of caravans on site at present.
