Agreed price then held to ransom of further pick up when told he made mistake and wanted to charge more, perhaps he thought we were on holiday…
Never will use again and would highly recommend no one else uses….
Sent another taxi firm to pick up in the end.
In my opinion should not have a business or work in customer service, rude and terrible service.
Would give no stars if an option..

If I could I would give it 0 out of 5, our first journey which was pre booked we were 20 minutes late being picked up meaning we were late for our meal. We had then booked with them to pick us up after our meal to which no one ever arrived and all phone numbers we were given were turned off and were hung up when called, meaning being stranded for 45 minutes trying to get hold of another company. Absolute disgrace especially as we have been using a Pats Cabs for years and have never had a problem, what has happened to pats Cabs in Newquay?

I was travelling alone for the first time this weekend and flew into Newquay this morning. I rang Pats Cabs early morning before my flight to ensure I had a taxi ready the other end to take me to newquay station, the man I spoke to sounded very friendly and said he had a drop off just before getting me but assured me that he will be there but may be just 5-10 mins late. So after landing and being stood outside for 15 minutes, I rang him back and it went straight to answerphone. I started to question if he was coming. I then rang another two times and he answered the second time. I asked if he was coming and he said that he completely forgot about me and my booking and that he was driving when he took my booking so it slipped his mind. Although he was apologetic, it just was not good enough.

Really good experience with Pats Cabs last weekend. I'd booked them to pick us up from St Austell station and in fact someone else called Ben jumped in the cab, but the driver quizzed them and realised they were just joy-riding so by the time we chased he was coming back to the station for us! Really nice chap and the next day they also moved our bags for us as we were doing the SW coast path.

I have used Pats cab x2 a year for the last few years. I email early on what time I need picking up to and from the airport, where to, the cost, also subsequent trips I need. I found them very reliable, they contact you, never late, cautious friendly driver. Pats can every time.

We used Pats Cabs twice whilst in Newquay. After being let down by another local taxi firm, the waitress in The Bowgie Inn recommended them and they were fab. We used them again when the bus outside our holiday park failed to turn up. Next time we visit we will definitely be using Pats Cabs, both drivers we had were so friendly too! Thank you

We booked a taxi with Pats cabs 1.4 miles from Trevornick to Crantock pick up was 6:30 return journey 10:30pm
When we got picked up he said said the charge was £25 for 4 people We thought that included the return journey but on the return he asked for another £25 So £50 quid for 2.8 miles I’m sure even black cabs in London don’t charge that much!!!
Do not use this company they Rip off people who are here for a holiday
