Comparing this to cinemas 'generally', it's a good one. Always clean and tidy. Toilets are always clean. The bar is well stocked although not a wide selection of drinks. The offers and standard prices of tickets for the wide range of events held here, are competitive. The staff are always very pleasant and polite, although, rarely enough of them to provide other than a 'good enough' service level. (Not their fault).
That's a relatively bland review for us, but that's the expereince we had. It wasn't great, nowhere near bad ... but beige.
If we had a choice to get a nice bottle of wine, some decent snacks and a movie at home, the customer experience of our visit here, wouldn't be enough to entice us out to it. And that's probably why it was, again, so very quiet.
If the owners got together with external experts it could all change, or maybe what we thought was 'very quiet' is more than enough to enable their business to be considered successful in their view. For us, it's beige and we're better to make our own cinema expereince at home.
A pity, but we believe this is an objective review.

Senior Screen going up in price all the time.
Coffee at Senior Screen needs to be stronger and hotter and the biscuits improved on as when it first started when all was good. It is going downhill! On the positive side, it's a lovely and comfortable place to go.

I’ve been to plenty of cinemas and Beverley is definitely the best one.

It’s nice to see staff dressed so smartly, gives a very good impression and the staff are all efficient and nothing is too much trouble. They also gave me a refund on a gift card when I couldn’t use my tickets due to my daughter becoming ill, thank you.

Screens are excellent and the seating is tiered exactly how it should - properly elevated between each row so that you can still see the screen if someone sits in front if you. Seats are spacious, comfortable and plenty of leg room.

Always a pleasant experience coming to this cinema and i can’t fault it at all. 10/10

Went here to watch Speed as they were showing the classic film once again. Absolutely loved it, not been to this cinema previously.

It’s on the upper floor but there is also a lift if required; parking we used one in town but the multi-storey is probably your best bet.

The whole place was clean, tidy and well presented, the staff were pleasant and welcoming. There is a bar and seating area, as usual you can buy all the sweets, chocolates and drinks you can imagine…..you might have to take out a mortgage to afford them though!

The cinema itself is well laid out with all the screens numbered along one corridor with toilets well signed along this corridor.

Wi-Fi is available if required, we booked the premier seating which gave us more leg room; this was a smart move!

Based on this experience I will certainly be back in future!

Used a number of times, good bar to relax in before film and you can take drinks in with you.
Loads of room for legs in Cinema.
Bring your own sweets etc as with all Cinemas food is expensive.
Staff very helpful.

We attend this cinema regularly. It has to be the friendliest, cleanest cinema ever. All the newest films are available, the seats are big and comfortable and the tiers are so well spaced you view is never impeded by the person in front. There is a comfortable bar area serving hot drinks and alcohol and you and take your drinks into the cinema to watch the film. The staff are very helpful and the whole experience is just great. I would and do recommend this cinema 100%

Haven't been for some time but went along to see Gladiator 2! ⚔️
Pensioner tickets are available for £5 which include a cup of tea or coffee (I hasten to say instant coffee) .
Only 10 people in on the afternoon show starting at 1230. Very quiet. Whilst you have allocated seats I suppose you could have moved elsewhere if you weren't happy?
Before you reach one of 6 screens there's a bar and a cafe area and of course the obligatory open plan sweet shop with Pop corn!
I will say that by the end of the 📽️ film I was actually cold! Yes I could have put my coat back on but should I have to? 🤔 Hence the 3⭐
Seats are comfy!
And of course it's more convenient than going through to Hull. 👍

I love it here and spend far too much time here! I've just left a movie and am currently outside waiting for another one to start!

It's a gorgeous cinema and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I often think I've been quite annoying with various refund and seat change requests but these are done easily over the phone! Prices are pretty good and you get discounts as a member. Only grumbles are one seat I sit on regular has a wobbly armrest and screen 4 has one emergency light that isn't as dim as the rest but this is nothing really! One thing I do like is that not only do they show all the latest films, they also show A LOT of old ones and it's great to see them on the big screen. Another plus is that the adverts and trailers are super short compared to other cinemas. I think one screening was 12 minutes of those altogether so don't get there too late!!!! Another convenience is that it's situated in Flemingate, A small decent shopping area and is also across the road from the train station which helps me as I don't drive so instead of waiting for people to drive me to Cineworld, I just come here! So, yeah. This is one of my favourite places. Highly recommended!

A quick edit to include that sometimes I come with my Dad who needs disabled parking. There are disabled spots just opposite the door so grab those if you can. However there is a multi story carpark 2 minutes walk away if that. Also, if you get into Screen 5, I envy you as it's so small and cosy! Also Screen 6 doubles as a theatre and shows various live shows. I'm yet to see one yet but will update this review if and when I do!

A quick update in November 24. Huge thanks to each and every staff member for being so lovely, friendly and helpful. You all should be proud of yourselves.
