Highly recommend Paddlesport coaching for all things paddle based. I recently did my safety and rescue with Jon, such a fun day and worthwhile. He has taught me all things whitewater also through Lee valley coaching and trips to wales. Always gives knowledgeable advice without any hesitation!

Jon is a great coach who has encouraged both my girls and myself to become better paddlers. He knows when to push them harder and when to just keep it simple.

Having had both group and one to one coaching sessions on/in several boats and boards, I today attended one of Jon’s pool sessions at Sudbury. I am an experienced paddleboarder but had a specific learning requirement, Jon went above and beyond to facilitate my requirements…. Whilst ‘doing my thing’ I watched others of different abilities practicing various things and having heaps of fun! Thankyou all for a great evening I hope our paths will cross again !

I've had the privilege in doing several courses and trips with Jon and Paddlesports Coaching. Jon's knowledge of moving water, paddling technique, safety and water conditions never ceases to amaze me. He has a real knack of bringing out the best in those who participate in his activities and is never judgemental or critical. Jon delivers great course and delivers a wide range of motivational sessions in both whitewater and developmental paddle sport courses. An enjoyable FSRT and pool session assisted my daughter in getting back into kayaking. Pool sessions great for developing rolling practice in groups and for one to one technical skills.

Just had a great two days kayaking at Treweryn with Jon. Delivery was spot on with Jon first assessing our needs and wishes then tailoring the coaching around this. What transpired was a really enjoyable and informative session that’s helped me progress my kayaking and given me lots to practice going forward. Above all, I wanted to improve my confidence on moving water and I’m pleased to say this session gave me the push I needed to go for my LV Olympic assessment….and pass! Jon is an excellent coach and I’ve been lucky enough to do several BCU and PaddleUK courses with him. Most recently he did my stadium leader assessment at HPP, whilst also being assessed himself.
