I had a fantastic half days kayaking with my friend Beth. Nils was an amazing guide. We loved kayaking across the coast. We even saw a dolphin 🐬. The scenery is gorgeous, and we felt safe and taken care of. We had such a good time we booked a 2 day 1 night camping and kayaking trip in September for my upcoming birthday 🎂

We (myself and girls aged 11 and 9) had a fantastic time doing the half day trip along the Dart River with Paddle Devon. Its such a beautiful river and so peaceful we hardly met any other river users at all. We saw several seals and lots of bird life and Nils (from Paddle Devon) had interesting snippets of information as we travelled too. Everything felt organised and safe and as relative beginners we were given instruction on how to manoeuvre etc. We were lucky enough (with the tides etc.) to make it as far as Stoke Gabriel for our midway stop which was delightful with families crabbing and opportunity to buy ice-cream or tea and cake and we really enjoyed weaving our way through the mud flats in and out of the harbour. Nils went out of his way to make it a memorable experience for us and had a great rapport with the girls keeping them interested on our return journey where tired arms may have kicked in. What a wonderful afternoon; an experience we will remember for a long time! We look forward to joining Paddle Devon again for more adventures next time we're in the area. We highly recommend!

Just had a beautiful guided tour down the Dart. Nils from Paddle Devon was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife, history and landmarks of the area and was really friendly and welcoming guide. Many interesting birds spotted (Herons, Egrits and Malaysian Ducks among others) and we also spotted six seals! Thoroughly recommend Nils's canoe or kayak trips. Thank you!

Nils and his team excellently guided myself and 17 others in a group canoe excursion along the river Dart. I organised the trip as part of a yoga retreat I was hosting, and found the process of organising a big group extremely efficient and straightforward with Nils. The day itself was fantastic and everyone had a great time. It certainly gave us lots of laughs and bonded the group. Even with some wind and choppy waters everyone felt safe and supported by Nils and the team and came away feeling accomplished. I would 100% recommend Paddle Devon and hope to work with Nils in the future!
