Today we hired P and D Coaches for a school trip. The coach driver, Gemma, was just the best! Her driving was 5 star, she assisted with getting equipment on and off the coach and was truely professional with a great sense of humour!
Would definitely recommend!

This coach took my wife and I from the Shearings south interchange to St Ives on the 14th April 17 and back again on the 17th. It was the most uncomfortable 6 hour journey I and many other passengers had endured. The seats are so jammed together the reclining feature had been locked off. How may complainants complained is questionable, as usual.
The driver unfortunately took a lot of flack but it was not his fault. It has taken me until now to find out that the minimum seat spacing is 20 cms, the same as on a public service bus. This coach was 21 cms. So where was the luxury. Stagecoach do better. Shearings had hired in this coach which we changed onto after travelling from Mansfield on one of their own spacious coaches. So coach holidaymakers beware; the company you book with, whilst knowing their standards, have no worries about dumping you halfway on your trip onto an inferior vehicle. As a rider to this, I have been in touch with the coach supplier, Moseleys, who were practically hostile to my letter, the two Coach Company Associations, one of which ignored my letter and all I wanted to know is what was the legal minimum gap between the seats on a coach. It is in a 1981 Government Document, which seems to be hidden away. The Regulations for Disabled people are much easier to find. What a trip. Shocking!

We just had our Air Cadets 395 squadron meeting and we all said how good P D York were when they took 50 + cadets to Cosford Air Show. Keith the driver was great as he'd gone to the trouble of scoping out the roads and access the night before and as a result, he knew the exact lane to take, getting us in and out of the show in very short time. He even worked around a big hold up in the M54 on our return trip. We can recommend both driver and company, as going that extra to make sure your trip is smooth

Your coaches are beautiful and clean, quiet, modern and so smooth. The tinted windows offer a relaxing abundance with no glare from other vehicle headlights. Access is very easy, unlike other coaches which are a vertical climb.
The air conditioning is super efficient making the journey very enjoyable.

Your drivers are immaculately presented with good communication skills.

You could not ask for better with the drop-off and pick-up Zones

We would definitely 100% recommend P&D York for a great travel experience.

I pass a P&D York coach daily on my children's school run. Extremely rude drivers. I always endeavour to give way especially through Brewood village BUT these drivers have never thanked
... not even a nod to thank and if I don't give way they shake their head in despair even though it's not their right of way. These drivers really do need some road awareness and how to deal/ respond with other road users in a polite manner.

I’ve used many coach companies in the past as a teacher but this is by far the best. We’ve just returned from a school trip to Paris and Tony our driver was the best I’ve ever met.

He knew all the sights to see, was a very careful driver and had our safety as his main priority.

He added to our amazing experience and I can honestly say he made the world of difference to our students knowing they were safe. He worked non stop from the moment he picked us up to the moment he dropped us off safe and sound 4 days later.

He gave us some key tips, knew some very interesting knowledge and kept us entertained all the way.

Thank you so much Tony. I hope you drive us to Disneyland Paris in February... in fact I’m going to call the boss and put in a request... P and D York... he’s done you proud.

Coming down the M40 today at 5pm I pulled in to come off at Longbridge island and it was in front of one of these coaches. I had plenty of room between me and the coach. The driver then proceeded to drive behind me with his main beam on whilst I had a young disabled child in my car and then was flashing his main beam behind me also. He then took the road towards COVENTRY and did obscene hand gestures whilst my young child could see this. Wouldn’t recommend this company at all if the drivers behave like this .... disgraceful
